I was very intrigued by this diffuser and quite eager to get this and try it out.Very cool.This is definitely a luxury item, and is very high end/high quality.The presentation of the set itself is lovely.To start, the diffuser bottle itself was bigger than I thought it would be, which was nice. The bottle is made of glass, very solid and pretty. The stopper is metal, and the decorative protective cover (which is the piece that goes over the top when the diffuser is in use), is quite weighty/heavy solid shiny polished metal. Feels very high quality.The cotton wick which goes in the bottle and soaks up the liquid, is very thick.It has the ceramic coil comes attached to the wick cord, you simply place the wick into the bottle, after pouring in the scented diffuser liquid into the bottle. It even comes with a little funnel for easy pouring.The set comes with a full-sized bottle of the diffuser liquid.You simply light the ceramic coil stopper, keep it lit for 2 minutes, then blow out the flame. Then just place the decorative protective cap/topper on top, and enjoy!(It includes the easy-to-follow instuctions)After a few minutes, you'll be able to smell the faintest hint of of the diffuser scent. That's what makes this so different.It is not a typical, heavy, headache-inducing perfumey smell. This diffuser actually acts as an air purifier, removing the typical odors in the house you want to get rid of, like pet smells, food smells, bathroom odors, cigarette smoke smells, etc. It doesn't just add some cheap, heavy, temporary scent into the room....it removes bad odors and stale air, and leaves a hint of heavenly, happy smell into the air.If at some point you want to "stop" the diffuser, simply take the decorative protective collar topper off, and place the plain stopper cap back on.I've never used this type of diffuser before. I didn't know how it works, if it would actually work, or how well it would work. And considering the price, I was very skeptical, but intrigued.I was really impressed....blown away. It's almost like magic.As I said, it's definitely a luxury brand. One that is well worth it's price. Plus, once you have the set, you only need to buy refill lamp liquid, which is available in many different scents. And the glass diffuser lamp/bottle and stopper itself is so pretty, it's a great decor piece all on it's own, whether filled and in-use, or not.It even comes with a really pretty and very thick drawstring pouch to store the glass lamp bottle in, if you want to store it.This would make a really, really lovely gift for anyone! For Christmas, a birthday, hostess gift, wedding gift, or housewarming gift. It's a really unique gifting choice that makes a nice impression, and is very luxurious.Or, a great special treat for yourself!It works so well, isn't overpowering, very lux, and just really nice quality. And the presentation of the set is lovely to boot!I love it, I'm hooked, and I highly recommend!

I have two other Lampe Berger diffusers, and was excited to review this one. If you are new to Lampe Berger, just go for it. It took me a few months to digest the cost, but it is NOTHING like any other home fragrance you've tried before. (Including the spendy diffusers) This actually seems to "clear" the air of odors, not just mask them.That said, sometimes the fragrance can be a little heavy depending on the scent, and I cut it with 90% isopropyl alcohol. (You CANNOT use 70%, don't even try. It won't burn correctly) The White Cashmere scent is intoxicating, and I will be purchasing a larger bottle. The burner itself is beautiful, and the first one I've had that isn't clear. Looks wonderful on the countertop!PS, if you are unsure on a scent, Ocean Breeze is one of their most popular, and for a good reason. It seems to be universally loved, and is a staple in our house.
