Was as expected easy to assemble and sturdy

Very pleased with this product. It's Strong and sturdy and will take a large amount of weight as a stool if needed. I wanted it to put my feet up on, after a long day at work or when using the laptop and happily it's very comfy and just the right height. It can be easily folded and put away when not in use, but to be honest I think mine will soon be too full of "bit and bobs" to want to. Good buy at a good price. Only one concern - took longer than expected to arrive, but to be fair the company they did send an apologetic reply to my email then shipped it out by FedEX to receive the next day.4 stars but only because of delivery delays.

When unwrapped these boxes were covered in some kind of fine dust/film which did wipe off with a damp cloth. That said, they are sturdy enough to sit on and offer a good amount of storage. One of mine had a kind of ripple mark in the faux leather of the lid but not bad enough for me to bother to return it.

Thought they were bigger but that's just me being terrible with measurements lol.They look very high end for the price and not at all cheap. Super easy to assemble. Takes less than a minute.I guess we'll see how durable they are over the next few months but my children have been sitting on them and they're surviving

I love the look of this item, it's practical, stylish and sturdy, but it has one major drawback - it smells absolutely awful, which is why I have only given 3 stars. About 2 days after receiving it we noticed a smell of sick, or stale milk, and finally traced it to the box. I tried to air it outside, I put bicarbonate of soda in there to absorb the smell, weeks later, it still stank. Eventually I started spraying natural vanilla vaporiser into the box every single night, this seemed to mask it somewhat, but even now, it still smells unpleasant. I have no idea what material is in this product to make it smell like it does, and it's a real shame because it is a nice item.

Substantial worth buying million times.. Very satisfactory. I have purchased five to date!.

Product was fine except that the lids had different patterns. on this occasion it did not matter and I was happy to keeep them but others may not be.
