Great cosmetic accessory!
These little silicone shields are perfect for applying mascara. I always have a hard time applying mascara, especially to my lower lashes. I have used a cotton swab under the lashes, but this is so much better! It is thin and flexible, very comfortable to hold and use. The set comes with two, but since they are reversable, you could keep one for yourself and give one away. It would make a great stocking stuffer gift or a nice addition to any cosmetic gift. In addition to using them as guards for putting on mascara, you can use them as a template for eyeliner. I also use them when applying powder eyeshadow to prevent powder fallout on the skin underneath my eyes. They clean up well with soap and water. This is really a great accessory to have in your make up kit. Highly recommend!

Easy to use, especially to draw consistent liner marks
I don’t know when I started having so much trouble drawing solid, straight eye and lip liner lines, but here we are.Whether it’s due to older skin, older eyes, or not such a confident, quick hand, this tool helps quite a bit. Makes it easy to get a consistent and ‘match able’ (side to side) line shape, especially for my favorite dramatic eyes.Washes up easily. Comes as a set of two in a cellophane bag, of course you really only need one as it can be used on on opposite sides for alternating eyes in the same shape.I do wish they came with suggestions for use (especially for using with magnetic eyelash liner (which I’ve found to be much runnier than regular liquid liner) because I think these could be extra useful for helping to keep that where it is supposed to be and off of my lashes themselves!). I’m sure there are more uses than have already occurred to me already.

Simple and useful
Simple idea, and does the job well. Easy to clean off, and works for a variety of applications. Useful little tool.

Darling addition to your makeup box
First, this is just cute. Yes, it's a tool, but as all ua makeup wearers know, we like things to be pretty, even if it's just an aid to the application of beaty supplies. So I think this is a darling little addition to your makeup box. It comes in a pack of 2, is easy to clean, and has several uses to help with precision. Is it prefect? No. I feel that certain curves could be altered for a better look, but that's just me. Am i going to keep using it? Absolutely! It's fun and helpful. It's a good, cheap find.

Silicone mascara shield
These are handheld silicone semi-circles that you can use to block your eyelids when you apply mascara. While in theory they could do that job just fine, positioning them is difficult. I'm very right handed and my left hand struggles to place this and stay in place while my right hand applies mascara. If you had incredibly long lashes to begin with, painting the tips using these would not be too hard. But if you want to place these snug against the base of the eyelid as you apply mascara from root to tip, it is hard. Perhaps if the silicone was a bit thinner or the shape was different? The design could be improved.

Too awkward to get much use
I’m having issues using these. I can’t get a good shape for eyeliner, so that’s a bust. I actually wanted them to keep mascara off my face, but these are just too awkward to hold and difficult to use. Being silicone, they also attract random stuff like lint and hair that I don’t want around my eyes. They just are not for me, which is a real bummer. I’ve read several reviews of people loving them, and I’d like to know the secret because I’m just not seeing it.
