YOCZOX 14” Oval Banneton Proving Basket, Bread Proofing Basket Sourdough Proofing Proving Sourdough Starter Kit Bread Making Accessories (35cm, Cloth Liner, Bread Lame, Brush)

First time I've used a Banneton Basket, everything arrived promptly as pictured, baskets appear to be good quality. Went into the deep end with a 1kg sourdough long loaf as a first bake, seasoned the baskets according to instructions, used without the liner & proofed dough overnight in the fridge, basket held the shape well with just the slightest bowing out in the middle but I think that may be expected of any basket with 1kg of expanding dough in it. Turned out on to the baking sheet without a hint of sticking to the basket. Made a beautifully shaped impressively large loaf.

Second bake of sourdough and first with a basket, which is a good size basket, came with all tools provided. Dough came out nicely for baking with a little flour dusted inside. Good value for money.

The basket is a nice size and feels quite solid. So long as you thoroughly dust it with coarse flour or semolina, the cane gives the dough a nice impression. I tend to use the liner as a breathable cover when proofing dough, but again, I give it a fair dusting to prevent inadvertent sticking.Although the handle and ferule are adequate, overall the brush is of very low qualty. I found a tendency for it to shed bristles and the bristles themselves are badly splayed, packed unevenly with a generally thin distribution. Whilst it can be used, the prospect of bristles in my bread disuades me from using it.The lame/grignette is comfortable in the hand and it's easy to direct the blade. Disappointingly, the razor blade is horribly blunt, and I detected a roughness to the edge so it's nigh impossible to cleanly score the dough after the final proof. Worse stiff, I can't see a way to replace the blade,The accessories are definitely disappointing, but the basket and liner should serve well.

Great for sourdough proofing and not too wide to fit in fridge overnight.

If you’re looking to prove bigger loaves, then this is the Banneton for you! Great size; recommend a decent dust down with flour before use (try rice flour if you’re baking sourdough). Works a treat and turns out beautiful shaped dough time after time.

Works well but you have to add a lot of flour to the basket (more than you think you need), if you don't want the dough to stick, other than that it's decent.
