This notebook is beautiful, well made, and perfect to go with my compact Bible!

I highly recommend these little journals by PeterPauliePress. I use them daily for short-form journaling (gratitude lists and short thoughts). They hold up beautifully to fountain pen ink with no bleed through. They are small enough that I can toss them in my pocket book and take them with me. I love the elastic band that keeps it from getting wrecked in my bag.The blue flowery design here is very pretty. I was impressed with how nice they were when delivered. They have a bit of gold highlight in the print which is cool and adds a nice flare. I purchased several of these little books in a few different prints in this journal style. Some to keep and some to give as gifts. For just a few bucks I am quite happy with the quality of the hard cover and the paper inside.

I love these journals from Peter Pauper Press! There are many designs and they are very well made!The Twilight Garden journal looks better in person than it does on the screen (as do most of these journals). There are gold foil and shiny paint accents on the cover that give it a very rich look. The dark blue color is vibrant and the thick writing paper is lined for guidance, but not so it's distracting when reading what you've written. The magnetic flap closes securely with a fairly strong magnet, so it doesn't flop open when you're carrying it in a bag or something. Plus, this journal really does lie flat when you're writing in it.I've gotten several of these journals, and they are all the same great quality. This journal is so cute, I love it! Nice hardcover and the design makes me excited to write inside. I can definitely see myself buying from this company again.

Edit 2/9/2018: At first the lines were too wide for me but you get used to them, plus I switched to writing cursive with fountain pen so it's actually a plus. The ink takes beautifully to the paper and does not feather, although the ivory color distorts the color a tad bit.I've used pencil, ballpoint, gel pens, calligraphy ink, and fountain pen ink on the paper and they all write extremely well. Beware of smudging though if your pen's ink is more "juicy"!ALSO, the color is off on the photo; my journal was more of a cerulean/dusty turquoise than the cobalt blue pictured in the product's photo.Another thing is that there are only 158 pages to write on rather than 160. I know this because I went through and numbered all the pages.I use this as basically a diary (morning pages) and I've already gone through half from the start of the year to now (2 months). I would recommend this as a dream journal or a recipe book instead.Now that I've used this journal thoroughly enough I can give it a more proper and true rating. Bumped up from 4/5 to 5/5. Definitely a good buy to try to see if you like the company's paper and this journal's size (was a bit too small for me though, annoying how my hand hung off the edge 70% of the time.Old Review: Journal is nice, but the lines are too wide ruled for me. However, I really like the color pallette of the journal and the pocket in the back and I especially like how it's a lay-flat binding.

It's an adorable little journal with really beautiful details. It doesn't look like much in the picture but the accents on the flowers really stand out in real life. I like how the lining in the journal is very light so it doesn't overpower your writing whether in pen or pencil, however the spacing is larger than my own preference (though not unacceptably so).My only negative comment is that one side of the pouch in the back was not folded properly when glued so when I tried to open it that side was stuck shut. I plan to reglue it when I get the chance but it's not that important.Other than that it is a subtly beautiful little thing. The details draw you in without being overpowering. I like how the pages are more of a pale cream color than just white or yellow which creates a rather soothing effect while using it. Would highly recommend buying this, especially for the price.

Not sure whether I’ve just found the motivation to journal my thoughts or whether the fact this is so pretty it makes me want to even more. LMAO!! It’s very sturdy and nicely made. The paper isn’t thin either which is what I was worried about. You know how they’ll do a nice hardcover and go skimp on the paper quality but not here!

My wife loves small, cute notebooks. She adores this one. Excellent love to cost ratio.
