Greek Organic Honey Pine 800g Glass jar

This is honey from honeydew not from bees, which I'd missed when I bought it. Nonetheless it's very tasty, with a very very slight burnt taste (like well done toast) that sits well with the sweetness. Goes well with my jumbo oats and yogurt for breakfast.

Great Quality Honey, Delicious

I have not tried pine honey before and have been recommended by friends. The jar arrived very well packaged to protect it. The honey is a lovely dark colour and has a good consistency. The taste is wonderful. I've not tasted honey like it before. It's not so sweet as floral honey, which is fine by me, and has a lovely clear fresh taste.

This honey is just divine, it truly is ambrosia, the food of the Gods. I have to stop myself simply spooning it out of the jar every time I go to the cupboard - as if having it on my toast, and with my yogurt every single day isn't enough!! (The yogurt has to be authenticly Greek too, of course!) We can all buy honey for a lower price than this, but as with many things, you get what you pay for and never is that saying more true than in this case. This fantastic pine honey has everything......taste, class and style and leaves the 'run of the mill' stuff looking what it will always be - the very poor relation!!! Thank you for such a brilliant honey!

Organic no additives. Tasty and value for money

This is an excellent honey for spreading on toast or for sweetening plain Greek yoghurt. It is thick and clear, and tastes much nicer than your average characterless plain runny supermarket honey. The price is also very good value compared with the market leader in Greek honeys. Reminds my of Greek summer mornings scented with pine!

Very good quality. Thousand times better than the Baltic honeys sold here which I used to buy and now feel suspect. This is truly great quality honey!

Absolutely delicious honey!It is a shame, though, that it is packaged in a Styrofoam box (inside the amazon cardboard box). Yes, this way the jar (glass) is well protected. However, there are alternatives available like "made to fit" cardboard moulds. Heck, nowadays most electronic items are safely packaged in cardboard. It should be possible to do likewise for a simple jar. Using Styrofoam packaging for an organic product does not make sense.For that reason only 3 stars.
