Have been using these to heat over cat beds. Gentle heat, cats love it and they've lasted well.

Good product, quite a lot of heat comes from this almost as soon as it's turned on. The only downside I think is that there is no indication that it is on and working.

With the weather turning its been hard to kerp the geckos at the correct temperature.I turns to a 200w bulb and this has brought the temperature right up.It did as smell slightly when turned on but that was gone after a couple of minutes.

Got 2 of these lamps plugged in and have been running for 2 years now heating my frogs terrarium very nicely. Never had an issue with them. They're on a temperature controller so often switch on and off to keep control of the temperature. They get piping hot, so place them with a mesh cage and also use a ceramic base to screw them into. That said, they can really raise the temperature on a small spot depending on the size of the lamp. Only downfall about this purchase was that it took a couple of weeks to arrive. If you want to save a few quid and willing to wait, order these, if not just get them for the double the price at Pets at Home

Didn't last long at all thankfully have not bought the frogs yet as temperature has crashed and is holding at just room temp only , I know it's nothing else wrong am a electrician and have tested everything , waste of money

Seen the reviews for this after I had ordered and was concerned, also was not happy about the long wait until delivery. Arrived much, much faster than expected, in fact it arrived on the day I needed it. Lamp works well and has kept my newly hatched duckling warm. Has been used for 3 weeks now with no issues. Very happy.

Not impressed with the first of the 2 i bought it only lasted a couple of weeks
