Solid as a rock, great value
This is a minimalist sturdy stand; very sleek snd simple. I assembled it in less than 30 minutes. Yes, the stands can be filled and should be, imho. It's not about sturdiness, it's about resonance. When the stands are not filled there is a hollow ringing sound when you tap them. Once they are filled, the ringing sound becomes a dead thud. Just run the speaker wire first, then reinforce the bottom of the narrow bags the stands are wrapped in with strapping/packing tape Then insert the bags the into the stands. Push the bag down the tube gently with a yardstick or something similar. Fill with sand or cat litter 3/4 of the way up and close securely with a twist tie.

Excellent speaker stand
I have a pair of KEF LSX speakers and need speaker stands. Hi first looked at the KEF LSX S1 speaker stands, but they were $350 which really didn’t make much sense. Furthermore, it felt over designed. So I took a look at the Kanto SP26. They are almost the same height as the S1s so height is fine. These were less than half the price so I didn’t expect much. But when I received them, I was very pleasantly surprised. These stands weight 33+ pounds. Extremely solidly built. Construction is excellent. When I opened the box, the packing was as nice as Apple iPhone packaging. Super simple design. Good workmanship (Made in China). It came with a smaller pair and a larger pair of speaker platforms. Unfortunately, both were too big for the LSX speakers. But I was able to remove the speaker connector from one of the platforms and screw the connector directly onto the speaker. Then I was able to screw that price onto the stand. And it worked!!! So yes. This stand works with the KEF LSX speakers with a minor modification. I would highly recommend it as an alternative to buying the $350 S1 stands. The SP26 actually looks better in my opinion. Much more simple and clean.

Looks are a good fit to any speaker and these are sturdy
You can shop endlessly on Amazon for speaker stands and the prices are all over the place. These Kantos are steel and have a slim plate for weight in the base that you would never suspect is there. Great for the Polk Audio Reserve R200 bookshelf speakers. These are amazing sounding speakers but need to be up and away from the walls. The Kanto SP26PL stands do a perfect job of getting the speakers up to ear level in my listening room. They have a black finish that disappears into my room's medium blue walls so they dont stand out.You will be more than happy with these stands. Easy recommendation to Buy! Enjoy! =)

Solid stands
I use these stands for a pair of Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers that I use as rears for a 5.1 system. They have a fairly hefty weight in the base that keeps them stable without making the stands look overly beefy. For mounting, they have a single hole in the center of the top place. I ended up drilling a single hole in the bottom of my Klipsch speakers at their "center of gravity" and bolted them to the stand. It wasn't totally necessary, but makes the whole setup feel very solid.

sleek, slender with functionality...
my original stands i purchased had become an atrocious eyesore after 20 arduous years of multiple moves and living near the ocean with salt water mists entering my audio room...these kanto sp26 clicked the boxes i was looking to achieve...26 to 28” tall so my tweeters fall within ear level on my couch...the foam padding on the stand top is an improvement to your typical adhesive rubber squares that lie on each corner...the rotating axis allows you to hit that sweet spot when dealing with room acoustics in a simpler manner than picking up the entire base and repositioning...i didnt have enough cable but the option to run it through the slots helps tidy the appearance of unsightly wires, but just make sure you are not running super low gauge or have bulky jacketed runs cause its most likely gonna be a tight squeeze...these are sturdy enough for me but i am sure an ambitious audiophile would mess around with filling these up with sand or something similar...currently have the larger plate installed with a speaker that weighs 21 pounds and has a depth of 11.4 inches with zero issues...the overall aesthetics are up my alley...very svelte, decent finish with a minimalistic aura...the stands are present and noticeable but do a good job of staying out of the way so if you have a elegant or flashy speaker design, the attention will transition to that instead...in the end, a great alternative to those with a small speaker you care enough about to properly set up, but do not want to pay the cost for the audiophile brands stand mount...

Excellent speaker stands, highly recommended!
These stands exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with my purchase. The look great and feel solid & very sturdy. The bottom steel base has some good weight to it, and including both spiked feet and rubber ones is a huge plus. I’m using Polk LSiM703’s which are pretty large bookshelf speakers. They weigh 29.6 lbs. each, so I was a little worried with the weight limit on these stands being 30 lbs. but they worked out perfectly. They also sound better now and look great. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of speaker stands and I highly recommend these Kanto SP26 stands to anyone looking to get the most out of their speakers. Thanks!

Sturdy and Well Built
I bought this set of stands after I purchased some Monolith stands here on Amazon and didn't like them. They were well packaged and came with everything you need to install. I especially liked that the stands came with both rubber feet for hard floors and spikes for carpet. I used the smaller top, but it's nice to have the larger top if I ever get larger speakers and the foam padding is a nice touch. The ability to adjust the angle of the top is nice and the cable management works well to hide the cord. This gives it a nice clean look. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Nice stands
These stands went together easily, appear to be well made and sturdy. They pair well with my Elac Debut 2.0’s and seem to have improved the sound by placing the speakers at ear level while seated. Happy with picking these up.
