The Airplane Footrest is a versatile travel accessory designed for toddlers, transforming standard airplane seats into comfortable sleeping spaces. Weighing just 0.5 pounds and folding down to a compact size, it’s perfect for parents on the go. Quick to set up and multi-functional, it not only provides a footrest but also serves as a bed and storage for toys and snacks, making it an essential item for stress-free family travel.

Worked as designed… ?
This product worked as described, was lightweight and easy to install. It was not however a sturdy or comfortable sleeping space for my toddler. It says it’s not weight-baring and it’s right. I really thought it would hold legs better than it did but it relies on weight on the seat to support the legs. I would not purchase this for a child under 4 again.

Works great and easy to use!
Connecting this to the airplane seat was super easy. We used it on both a standard seat and a seat with more legroom. My daughter was about 36” tall at the time so she didn’t have a whole lot of room to take a sleep but smaller toddlers shouldn’t have a problem. A nice added bonus is that it helps catch anything your little one might drop.

Only good for newborns or lighter kids.
I was really excited for this product as some airlines do not allow you to use the inflatable footrest for children. However, I realized that this product is not good for heavier toddlers. My child is 30 pounds and we used this for a 13 hour flight. It was great at first however, the leg side started to fall halfway my child’s nap time. I’ve tried readjusting it and it just keeps drooping. I tried buckling it around the seat in front of us but the passenger there was uncomfortable with it coz of the buckle. It was a good try but not worth it.

Works, but some caveats
I used this foot rest / bed on a recent plane flight for a 3 y/o and it worked Ok. It comes with a nice pouch to store it and it is easy enough to roll it back together and stuff in there. The main hassle is that on the seat side, the strap wraps around the seat, so you really need to be mindful of what is behind the seat like another passenger. The other side you wrap around the arms of the tray table, so you do need a seat with a tray table to use it (no bulkhead seat). Others mentioned issues using it with the flight attendants, though I didn't have any on my one use, but I would probably follow the same rules as using a car seat as to which seats to use it in (no isle or exit row, for example) to be safe. It works fine, and the best part is keeping things from dropping to the floor.
