A neighbour fitted this on my front door to replace old broken one and he said it was very straightforward.As for me if I didn't know the old one was broken I wouldn't have known the difference.Must admit I was quite wary considering it was front door to me house buy I couldn't recommend this highly enough. Easy for him to fit, inexpensive for me, came really quickly and I'm safe in my own home.Very very impressed

Good quality door lock with latch.

I have used this type of lock before, this is good quality and value, they aren't really difficult to install, just depends on your DIY skills and the door you are fitting it to, sometimes it might take a bit of time

The lock itself is of good quality and was easy to fit though , not quite a straight swap as I had to chisel out some additional wood so that it correctly fitted. The previous lock was an ERA, all the holes lined up ok but the metal was a bit thicker.Now that it is all installed and tested all is well; just expect to have to do some tweaking if you have a different make lock you are replacing.I am sure this lock will last as long as the other one (15 years)

My old Yale lock was was sticking, sometimes it would lock in place, other times not. I really didn't want to start drilling holes and have to get the chisels out, so I went on Amazon, and low and behold, there was a new Yale lock identical to mine, read the description, then purchased it. It arrived. I fitted it in about 5 minutes, all the screw holes were in exactly the same place. It is a really solid lock, just like my old one. Perfect!
