This is fantastic stuff. For while before I found this, I had become afraid to brush my teeth because the flavourings in regular toothpaste were so harsh on the sensitive tissues of my mouth. I have developed oral lichen planus - a kind of eczema in the mouth - which inflames my gums and mouth lining. Once I started using this paste, my lovely dentist was really impressed. She's particularly pleased that it has no sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), the foaming agent in most toothpastes which she suspects triggers many of the auto-immune problems she sees in people's mouths. It is only added to regular toothpaste because it makes us feel we've done a good job (even if we haven't). It doesn't serve any cleaning function. My dentist was also happy that it contained a sensible level of fluoride.And this is the only toothpaste I've ever found that has absolutely no flavour. I have a son who is very prone to mouth ulcers, just as I was in childhood. We can both cope with this toothpaste, and in fact I think more children would brush more often if all toothpaste was like this. Also, when my children were younger and I was still helping them brush, it was much easier to be sure that all their teeth had been brushed well because there was no foam to get in the way. My son has just finished two years of braces and his orthodontist has been impressed by how well he's brushed throughout and what good condition his teeth are in.I know that some will ask how you get fresh breath if you brush with a paste that has no flavour. In fact, I simply finish up my brushing routine with an alcohol-free mouthwash. Job done. Often I dilute it (my dentist tells me this is just fine - most mouthwash really doesn't need to be so strong, she says), but the point is that I can control how long the sensitive tissues in my mouth are in contact with the flavouring knowing that I've also done a really good job on the brushing.If you have any of these issues, or even if you simply hate flavoured toothpaste, this is the stuff you need. You'll find it a bit weird at first, particularly the lack of foam, but I promise you that once you've got used to it, you'll never go back.

The best toothpaste for my circumstances

More than happy with the product. Finding a toothpaste thst my autistic daughter would be happy using was difficult. This doesn't foam in the mouth - which is what I needed. But it's unflavoured. Ideal for kids/adults that dislike the usual minty taste. Recommended. And the price is reasonable too.

Mild not minty! My 9 year old is super fussy & hasn’t complained using this- much better fluoride content than others I’ve found. Will purchase again 👌

This toothpaste is fabulous for those that don't like flavoured toothpaste. My son (19) has been using it for a few years and has Autism. He struggles sometimes with sensory issues and says mint toothpaste tastes "spicy". He really likes this toothpaste which is a winner in my eyes!

I have to say this is a life-changing product for me. my teeth have never been so clean and strong.I am presumably on the autistic spectrum though not diagnosed, additionally I have health problems including mast cell activation syndrome. A combination of these two things has left me basically unable to brush my teeth for about a year, I was constantly being sick after brushing my teeth, having allergic reactions, the smell and taste of mint is completely intolerable to me now. I used to find that the forming of toothpaste would set off an allergic reaction that would produce a lot of extra catarrh and saliva, everything would bind together and make me rich and heave for 30 minutes after brushing my teeth. Also because my dentist had instructed me to not rinse my mouth out so thoroughly after cleaning my teeth, I would have to put up with that awful burning mint to taste for hours after.I have tried various alternative toothpastes but none of them had fluoride in and also they still make me feel sick, something to do with the texture.This toothpaste tastes of almost nothing, slightly sweet perhaps. Also because it doesn't have SLS in it it doesn't foam up, it just becomes a runny white liquid.I don't get sick or feel nauseous, it doesn't burn or have any strong flavour or vapour, I don't seem to have any allergic reactions to it. Just fantastic!!In terms of brushing my teeth I suppose it's a little trickier to get the coverage, I tend to initially smear it all over my teeth before I begin brushing properly. Because it doesn't foam up you have to make a little bit more effort to make sure that each tooth has toothpaste on it. I find that occasionally scooping toothpaste from a well that forms behind my bottom front teeth helps.My teeth feel amazing and look amazing as well, I don't think they've ever been so clean - I don't know if that's just because I am more happy brushing my teeth so I spend longer doing it, or if this is actually better than generic toothpaste.In combination with this I use a natural charcoal and Bamboo fiber floss with a Y shaped flossing tool, which I find very relaxing. The floss have a very mild, almost unnoticeable amount of mint essential oil added to it, and has a very pleasant texture because it's made from a natural fibre rather than plastic. It's also much better for the environment and kind to sea animals (wild animals are injured by floss because it doesn't biodegrade or break, it gets wrapped around them).I was concerned that I would suffer from bad breath with not having the mint, however I have not really found this to be the case. It is a little strange at first, I don't feel as refreshed, however, I can just have a cup of tea or coffee in the morning after cleaning my teeth and any remaining morning breath goes away.Finally an added bonus of this toothpaste is that you can eat quite quickly afterwards without any contamination of taste. Because of my health conditions I find it very annoying and exhausting to have to go back upstairs again after my breakfast, I can brush my teeth before breakfast now.

I have a sensitive mouth find normal toothpaste which are flavoured burn inside of my mouth oralnurse is unflavoured but still has the right amount of fluoride in it which helps to keep your teeth clean and healthy
