Stylish ? For a blood pressure monitor ? Oh yes. It's lovely. Black and silver with a massive black touch screen. It looks fantastic. And it works perfectly and stows away in the great little case that came with it. I've compared it with my doctor's readings and it's comparable so I'm confident that it is reading correctly. It takes a reading quickly with no fuss and will store many of them internally and you can transfer the data to your PC too. I'd be happy to have this on display in the house it looks so good. DtD

I am diabetic , So I regulary take my blood pressure 4 times a day. this unit performs superbly , is extremely smart looking, And comes with PC software Program , Which is worth as much as the unit itself, the readings are easily read due to large numerals. are ,and are very consistant. I would not hesitate to recommend this to any body. The software will also allow you to connect beurer diagnostic scales which I have since purchased and also theas 50 activity monitor , and also glucose monitor .which will give you a complete health check. which can be printed from your PC. All in all A very good purchase of a high end blood pressure monitor. which I can only give a 5 star rating with no hesitation.

Bought this after I sent an Omron machine back to Amazon due to infuriating problems with the comfort cuff. This model has a much easier to apply cuff although note it is only a single size so if you have two users with very different sized arms you will need an additional cuff of the correct size. I am slightly overweight but this cuff suits both me and my wife. The build quality is much better than the Omron M10-IT machine, solid and well finished, very expensive and 'Germanic' looking in fact. Even the storage pouch is better quality and much more durable than the one I got with the Omron The touch screen is very easy to use and very clear. I needed a machine that would record data for at least two users and enable downloads to a PC, there is only this one and the Omron I sent back that do this in this price range as far as I am aware. As to accuracy, the readings are a little higher than those I was getting with the Omron but this could be due to a number of factors, not least of course that the Omron could have been reading lower than it should. Also note the box states it has a three year guarantee which is not mentioned on the Amazon description. The software would have been better if it had come on a disc like the Omron, you have to download it from the Beurer web site and I noticed the English version was not the very latest which at the time of writing is ver. 2.2 not 2.1. I found the correct version on the German site meaning I was presented with German instructions but Google Chrome sorted a translation out for me. One thing to note is that when downloading the data to your PC you have to have the correct user selected on the machine itself - otherwise it complains that the USB lead is not connected which is a tad misleading. Took me about 15 minutes to figure this out, the lack of a manual with the software did not help. Had it not been for those niggling issues I would have given 5 stars but so far I am happy and will update if this changes with more use. Ed to add - After a couple of weeks use I notice the screen is quite easily scratched - it seems to be quite soft plastic not like the hard stuff or even glass like you see on mobile phones and similar. I managed to remove the scratches on mine with a bit of a rub with Brasso and follow up with t- cut (try this only at your own risk!) and now take more care not to mark the screen.

This is a good monitor. It came soon after I ordered and was well packed. The sleeve is not very wide, so we use the sleeve from our old monitor. Overall, a good purchase.

I have used an Omron M10-IT for a number of years but unfortunately I suspect the reading are becoming increasingly erratic. I would have liked to purchase the same model again but it is no longer offered. I found the USB interface and csv file transfer very useful allowing me to display the date in Excel spreadsheets. Having looked at a number of monitors that provide an interface to smart phones and seen the mandatory requirement to agree to share my data with the manufacturer and other third parties I decided it wasn't for me. The only option with an interface to a PC was the Beurer BM58 which I ordered and it arrived with the usual promptness from Amazon . I set up the date and time and made my first measurement. I found that the cuff was easier to fit and more comfortable that that supplied with the Omron. Unfortunately, when taking the cuff off I heard a ripping noise and looking at the cuff saw that the Velcro was starting to come away from the cuff fabric. On inspection it was apparent that the stitching had been misplaced at both sides - on one side it was away from the edge of the Velcro and on the other side was only partly on the Velcro and had ripped. See photos 1 & 2. I connected the supplied USB cable between the BM58 and my PC, having downloaded and installed the Beurer Health Manager software. The software required me to enter my full name, date of birth and height in order to use it. I then had to download the driver for the BM58 which was quick and easy. I started the data transfer. A small window appeared showing the transfer progress which was very slow. Once finished another screen popped up displaying "An error occured (sic) during data transfer. Device needs to be reconnected." See photo 3. I reconnected the cable and repeated the transfer receiving the same response. I then swapped the lead for the one supplied with the Omron which I knew worked. The transfer was completed very quickly. Next, I tried the csv export. CSV stands for Comma Separated Variable which means that each item of data has a comma after it and on importing into a spreadsheet each item of data is entered into individual cells. Unfortunately, the csv file uses semi-colons as the separator character and thus all data on one line ends up in one cell. Not very useful. I suspect this is because the CSV file has been created for the European market were commas are used to denote a decimal point. All of which lead me to judge that Beuer are not good at quality control of their products and so I have returned the BM58 for a refund.

Un appareil tout à fait rassurant dans sa présentation comme dans son utilisation. Le couplage via usb avec le programme windows pour la consolidation et le suivi des mesures se fait sans soucis. La prise des mesures et simple et lisible. Parfait.
