Easy to use and offers more stability trolley jack
Went from taking 30 mins to changing a wheel to10 mins. Why did it take me 30 mins you ask.Well by the time i wrestle the jack out off it's flimsy bag and unwind the jack so that i can place it under the jacking point and start turnining the handle about 20 times before it lifts my car off the ground to enable me to replace the wheel. Also after i change the wheel i have to reverse the process to put it back. Also when jacked up i feel that my car is unstable due to the height i have to raise to jack to th get my car of the ground. Now the Trolley Jack & Case. Remove jack and handle from case, place jack under car, jack up car using handle supplied with jack, takes about 3 to pumps with handle to raise my car of the ground, change wheel, tighten nuts, turn handle to release jack, remove from underneath car put back in case and all of this take about 10 mins.

Caveat emptor !!
This is a good example of getting what you pay for. First, I am what you might call a highly experienced (50+ years) DIY mechanic so I was not fazed by the instructions - of which like others here I could not make head nor tail. As others said, there was no indication of which plug or vent is which for bleeding air out, and instructions to use "the extension screw" are a tad useless when this item does not HAVE any extension screw. In light of Roger's experience I opted not to remove the rubber plug, and frankly I'm not sure the instructions for bleeding air out before use are necessary - I did a thorough job on same and it made not a jot of difference - maybe under load I would have seen an improvement, but of course you should not subject the jack to load if you think there *might* be air in the system. No problems with the yellow carry handle, mine slipped on easily enough, but by the same token could slip off just as easily so not to be relied on. Reading through all the 30-odd other reviews it looks to me as if different buyers are getting different items from different suppliers, and the jacks are clearly not all the same. I got one of the poorer examples, but then as others have said, ultimately it does the job and for experienced hands it's pretty good value for money. For the person who needed an extra screwdriver for the release valve, the way to turn this valve is to use the "pinched" end of the jacking lever. It slips over the flatted spigot to the lower right of the main 'bayonet' socket for the lever. If you were using a Philips driver to open the plug on the top right of the main cylinder, this is the filling plug and should not be touched except for filling and bleeding. The jack I received had a range of 135-315mm. Amazon advertise it as 135-320mm and I won't make a fuss over 5mm. But the jack itself is plated "135-300mm" so again, signs that different sources are being used. All in all this item functions OK, but the instructions are, frankly, pathetic, and potentially dangerous for a mechanically inexperienced person. For the novice who wants something ready to use straight out of the box, I would not recommend this item.UPdate May 2014: Now had this jack a few months, and used it on a couple of my cars, not just for changing wheels but support while doing some fairly major under-engine work on my Jag X-type diesel, which a) is not the lightest of cars, and b) is not something I would risk with kit I didn't think was up to the job. It's a pity those buyers who report throwing away their jacks didn't complain to Amazon and demand a replacement from a different supplier, as the one I have, albeit not the most polished piece of machinery I've ever seen, is certainly man enough for the job.

Poor instructions that do not match the product
First, the instructions are poor. It comes with an "exploded" diagram to show the parts but the diagram does not name all the parts in the instructions. For example, the "release valve" is not shown in the diagram and it took me a while to figure out what it is. Neither is the "vent plug" shown in the diagram. The instructions speak of unscrewing the vent plug 1/16th of an inch but this is impossible because the plug is not a screw, it has no screw thread, it is only a rubber bung and cannot be unscrewed. So In order to fill the cylinder with oil and release "trapped air," as described in the instructions, I had to use my finger nails to get the bung out but I could not put it back because it has no thread to screw and it could not be pushed back. I have had to cover the bung hole with plastic sealant. It certainly does look a mess. If the sealant had not worked I would certainly have taken the matter to the Small Claims Court and I'm certain I would have won. I doubt if returning it would be an option because the postal charge would be too much.

Good service / good quality
Arrived early - very good delivery service. When it first arrived, despite ample packing, the case was badly cracked. This was promptly replaced by the supplier with no fuss. The jack itself I haven't had the opportunity to use properly yet, but it appears to be good quality and very easy to work. The jacking action is smooth and reasonably quick. Everything worked straight out of the box.The yellow lifting handle cannot be left on though, otherwise the case lid won't shut (might explain my cracked case?) and it's a swine to put on and take off - so I have just left mine off.

A good well made capable T/Jack.
Like most people I hope I dont have to use it anytime soon, but the product is as described and appears to be well made and strong. It has its own carrying case which is a bonus and stops it rattling around the boot. A good purchase at a good price really.

Good but dangerous with major design flaw (unfortunately most of similar products are the same)
It's a good quality product, but as many similar jacks, it has a major design flaw - when releasing pressure, valve works almost in shut/full flow mode, making it almost impossible to throttle lowering of the car. It will literally do noting and then just drop the car. This is my forth of fifth product of this design and only one allowed for graduate lowering. Not to advertise, but it came from a discount German grocery chain with yellow and blue sign.

Bit disappointed
Item works fine but when removed from packaging it looked 2nd hand, paint work was all chipped off..apart from that good item.

Great Value, Very Practical and Easy to Use
This trolley jack is great value, it comes with a useful carrying case that make it easy to stow away and it is really easy to use. It speeds up tyre changing and any other job on the car that requires the car to be jacked up.
