Fun Kids First Encyclopedia
These are awesome! They are good quality hard back kids encyclopedias and have my kids entertained during church. My kids aren’t the best readers yet, but enjoy the pictures and pick up little facts typically. My boys are 4 & 5 so the books are a little heavy for them, but these have definitely helped to perpetuate a natural love of books, which makes this mom pretty happy!

Perfect for young spongy minds.
I bought these for my grandson-to-be😉. This child will be well read before he enters school. These are enjoyable for older folks as well. Good quality hard cover books.

Very good books.
Bought these for my son and one for my grandson. They both LOVE them. They are very informative on a child’s level, with lots of pictures.

LOVE this set!
Our kiddos absolutely love this set! It's such a great addition to add to our homeschool curriculum. This set comes with 3 books: Animals, Dinosaurs and Things.

Excellent Encyclopedias for Kids
This is a nice 3 book set in an open sided box. One of the books is on dinosaurs, one on animals (that aren't dinosaurs) and one is a mix of other things. They have nice, cushy hardbacks and a large threaded binding which makes it easy to open the books and keep the pages open while reading. There are colorful pictures throughout and the information is easy to digest. It's definitely not like a standard encyclopedia with just tons of text on each page. Each book has a built in ribbon bookmark, which is nice if you're using them for a research project and want to find your spot easily. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because one page was oddly separated in half; I'm not really sure how that happens but it was really disappointing considering how nice they are otherwise.

3 fun and educational books for your child
This is actually a set of 3 books from DK rather than 1 large book. The titles of the 3 books are My Encyclopedia of Very Important Animals, My Encyclopedia of Very Important Dinosaurs, and My Encyclopedia of Very Important Things. My son loves dinosaurs, so the book about dinosaurs is his favorite one. But the other 2 books are very nice as well. The 3rd book covers just about anything you could think of that isn't related to animals or dinosaurs. There are chapters on the planet, the continents, different cultures, human anatomy, and many other topics. These books have many beautiful illustrations and pictures as well as answering many of the questions about the world and life in general that young children often ask. I even learned some things I didn't know when I was reading these books to my son. This collection of books would make a wonderful present for your children if they are about to enter elementary school.

Great set, very educational and engaging for kids
My 5 year old had a question about bees and I was glad that I got these and had them on hand. The book set is very well made. It is 3 volumes. The books have padded covers and feel nice. Each two-page spread is on a different topic. The book is very picture and graphic heavy with facts and text around the images. It covers numerous topics. Great to use as a reference or for browsing and flipping through. Our 5 year doesn't read yet but enjoyed us sitting with him and reading pages, I am sure once he is reading on his own he will flip through all of these. Even as a adult I could sit and just flip through. Great alternative to full encyclopedia set we had has kids. Great gift for elementary school age children. Useful as a reference for research projects once they go to school and have to have a few print resources. There is an index in the back to help you find section on topics you want as books are not in alphabetical order, but grouped by theme. As a librarian with MLIS I recommended.
