Easy to use and affordable.
Pretty good device for measuring the salinity of sea water. Comes in a plastic box with pipette, microfibre cloth and small screw driver for adjusting the calibration. It works well but it helps if you have a bright light source to illuminate the display. The eye piece can be focused to assist with making the reading but I found it quite sloppy. All in all though a great little device which works brilliantly.

Works great when calibrated!
Having calibrated with a known sg 1.024 It has worked great for monitoring the salinity of many marine tanks, great value for money highly recommend!

Excellent product, arrived quickly and has shown a low salt content in my marine fish tank, which is why my corals were suffering. Great quality and easy to set up and use.

Nice product and cheap
I have been using it for a few months and it has been working well. I recommend to all the beginners as me.

Excellent
It's very good a hundred times better than the Red Sea, and once set it holds the parameters.I highly recommend.

Not that accurate
Mine is consistently off by about 0.002, so my water from the store is 1.024, but this is reading as 1.026, even after calibrating several times. Now I know it's off by 0.002, it's okay, but I don't 100% trust it. In the end, I bought the Hanna salinity pen and use this as a backup.
