Great book for our trip to Maine
I enjoyed reading the whole book even parts that I knew we would not be visiting.

Very do
I was surprised to find that I have done over half of what the book offered!! So for those adventuring out brand new, it is a very doable page Turner!!

Wish i hadn't bought it.
Maybe I'm just lazy, but I thought the things to do should or would've been in chapters of Maine regions.

As a Mainer born in the county
I would not recommend this book, for your vacation planning in Vacation Land. I bought this out of curiosity to share with summer complaints that visit our state. I am going to return it. That’s my humble opinion.Signed Retired Grumpy old Man

Maine Activities and Places to Visit
This is a small book purchased as a gift for someone who loves Maine. The binding and production qualities seem quite good; however, its what I would describe as a quick read. It describes things to do all around Maine. Read the description carefully to be sure you are getting value for your purchase.

Good but not what expected
Talked so much about history. Thought it would be more about what’s the best things to see and do.

So bad
I don’t think the author has ever set foot in Maine! I’ve only just begun looking at this book and I’m irritated! Baxter State Park is nowhere near Bangor and Lily Bay is not near Jackman! I feel bad for Millinocket and Greenville being robbed of these distinctions. I’m sure there are many other discrepancies but these two are most glaring. Do not get this book to plan a vacation without consulting a Maine atlas. There are many other books about Maine that have accurate information.
