Honestly the only work boots I buy for three years in a row and I put them through a lot of work! I personally like the higher heel because of my back pain and it helps alleviate pain while wearing them. The leather is tough and stitching keeps for a long time before they wear out, then I buy another pair. But I wear them everyday. The only thing I recommend is keeping a pair of boot laces on hand. The laces will break over time!

I was unsure about ordering these but they turned out to be good boots. I have been wearing them for about a month now. I do land surveying and have to go thru all kinds of terrain, and so far they have handled everything I have put them through and still look good. Boots are waterproof so far and I've been ankle deep water crossing creeks. The only thing bad to say about them has already been said in other reviews is that they do get kinda warm on your feet, but I can't say that it's any worse than other more expensive boots I have worn.

This work boot is in fact waterproof as it says on the description! Its a great boot i love mine! I would buy them again i have been wearing them for work in a hardware store, for about 6 months now and i can say they still brand new as in no cracks no tears no malfunctioning! They are darker from water spilling on them as i work in the nursery and wear them on a rainy day! All in all worth every dollar! Going on a year now for these boots and they are still like brand new ive been working in the nursery so they get extremely wet but the best part they still look brand new

These Carolina boots are my first pair, I've had multiple different work boots in the past, these are by far the best. I will never get another work boot. They are expensive; but worth every penny. They are water proof, I've been hunting with them in wet climate and they've handled it well. They are fitted to size, I've had them for 3 months now; I wear them daily and so far not one complaint. Solid boot!!
