Good quality, well thought out product
Lots of options for different brightness levels, etc, nice set of extras (bag, lanyard, clip), good solid construction

Bright for the $
I got this and it's bright BUT get really hot around the base of the light so I don't keep it on to long. NOt sure if that's normal. Battery life is OK and the carry bag is kinda cheap, flimsy but still works and gets the job done

Don't listen to the nay-sayers
This flashlight is awesome.I originally purchased the V5 & love it.Saw it was on sale and ordered 2 more.Turns out they were V6.The button functions are a little more streamlined and the "brightness" seems a little less bright but it's still pretty great.The V5 does get a little hot at full brightness, so use in limited bursts, which I think is the point...to blind an opponent at a critical moment. There are plenty of other options of suitable illumination.

Black scout survival flashlight
This thing's got some power. I like the crenulated bezel that can be screwed off. Can be very useful as a self-defense tool as well as just a flashlight.

Failure.
I had two other ThruNite flashlights. Both work flawlessly and have been for over 2YRS one and 3YRS other.This model not so. Failed in less than two months. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
