This is a sturdy, well-made, ball valve. Installation is easy if you take your time a measure carefully. So far, my installation is leak-free. The action is smooth. And at this price-point, this is a great value. My application is a cut-off valve for my pool's waste line.

Someone left a review saying that this ball valve was not a ball valve that it was just a straight pipe with a red turn handle glued on top I almost saw the same thing but the reality is this is an excellent ball valve. It’s just hard to turn it the first time it’s a little stuck and once you get it to turn then it works like it should.

Easy to install and work great with my pool for easy removal each season and while doing maintenance on the filter.

My husband recently decided to replace some of our irrigation system. Our old shut-off valve for the watering had already had several O-ring replacements so a new valve was due.He said that it was easy to cut the old valve off. He then cemented the new valve in place. The Union Ball Valve provides a smooth and effortless twist to open and close. Being a union valve allows for simple connect and disconnect in case of any future mishaps. Very simple and a short amount of time to install. Additional/replacement O-rings also was provided. My husband used an old mint tin to store the O-rings and placed them in the hole with the value so they would not go missing.

Works good and good price. Solid built quality. Comes with extra set of O-rings.
