Perfect little wine carafe
This exactly what my husband was looking for! It's big enough to hold a couple of glasses of wine and looks the part. It's good quality and will wash well. Very pleased with product.

great carafe, good size
I ordered this carafe as i have been searching for a nice simple looking small carafe for ages. The glass is fine, holds 500 ml up to the skinny part of the carafe. It is not a great pourer and drips, but it is the best i have seen since dining in Paris.

Just the right size
I wanted a carafe that would hold a small amount of mead for four and this is perfect.

Misleading sizing
The sizing and the photos are misleading. It may hold 1/2 litre but only if you fill it right up to the brim, which is not quite the point of a carafe. So if you wish to have a carafe that can hold either 2/3 or 3/4 of a standard bottle comfortably without looking ridiculously overfilled, you need to go for the next larger size which is the 1 litre. Better to leave some breathing space on top.

Lovely little carafe. Perfect size for decanting 250ml of wine for evenings when you only want a glass with the dinner
