Lottie LOTTI Eville Summer Festival Doll

I bought the Lottieville Festival Lottie Doll from Amazon in October last year. I'm an adult and I bought her for myself so I could sew clothes for her. I was immediately impressed by the look of little Lottie and in particular by her high quality hair and her ball-jointed arms - she is more poseable than a Barbie. But as soon as I got her out of her packaging and carefully removed her clothes I noticed two disappointing things: 1) the flower "decal" on her top, which is detachable from the top with velcro, fell right off its velcro backing. I had barely touched it when this happened so it did raise a question about the durability of item in the hands of young children; 2) when I took off Lottie's tights and carefully clicked her knees, a piece of plastic broke inside her leg and almost poked through her knee plastic! Again, I had barely handled the doll. I love this little doll and couldn't bear to return her so I now have to handle her with extreme care to avoid breaking her leg. This said, I do think on the whole Lottie is a high quality doll - since she is a new product, I expect there have been a few teething problems in her production and hopefully the company will take these issues on board and sort out the glitches. I really want this doll to stay in production because I like her body shape and sweet look - she is a great antidote to most other fashion dolls on the market nowadays, which have a depressingly one-sided "grown-up" look. I'm thinking of buying another Lottie - I wish the black-haired, brown-eyed Lottie came in different outfits!

I think these dolls are fantastic. Very well designed with young girls in mind. Good quality clothing and accessories on them too. I bought one for my daughter and she loves it so bought one for my nieces birthday and she also loves it. I think they might be wanting to collect them all.

My four-year old daughter received this for Christmas. She absolutely loves it and takes it everywhere. However, I do have a number of issues with the quality of the clothing and other accessories. The seams are loose on the jacket after only 10 days of her pulling it on and off, the hair ribbon is impossible for her to put on (if it had been made of elastic, it would have been better- even I have a hard time getting it on, and it doesn't stay on for more than a minute).The legs also come off much too easily- she took it to bed and woke up in tears because "the legs have gone!" It must have happened because she rolled on it- and she's a bare 15kg.The velcro-attached sun patch is a nice idea, but it is much too easy to lose- we've also had tears because it's come off and she can't find it. The bag would have been a whole lot nicer if it were actually made of cloth and not a just a chunk of plastic with a plastic strap. We also have the Autumn Leaves Lottie- the same problems apply re legs and patch- and the coat is also coming apart at the seams.

I really love this cute little doll. Good value for money and very well made clothes.I was reminded of how excited my daughter and I were when we first discovered the little Amanda Jane dolls years ago!

My daughter loves Lottie and so do I. So much better than Barbie, lovely clothes and long hair, which girls love to play with.

My grand child was very pleased with it.My daughter had also purchased one,she says that she likes them because they are not like Barbie dolls makeup ect. 🐞
