I open about 20 bottles of wine a day with this true tap and I see no difference between it and the pulltaps from France. The paint is thicker and seems to be superior to the pulltaps in every way. They both function exactly the same with the true taps seeming to have better quality. I think people who complain about these types of wine keys don't know how to use them correctly. I can't say for sure if this one will last as long as my pulltap because I haven't had for a year yet.
