MedMobile® Heavy Duty Bath Bench with Removable Armrests

I can only review because I have seen this product at a friend's house. It is stable, safe and wide enough to safely allow an elderly person to sit down in the shower. You must always place hands on both handles at the same time (not one side by itself) in order to ensure balance. If not then another person should hold down the other side to make sure it doesn’t tip. The height can easily be adjusted. The rubber footies keep it from sliding. Ordered this 5 weeks ago and seller said that it's fulfilled by Amazon so they can't tell me where it is. I will update my own product after received. Ordered 5 weeks ago. But I did check the name with my friend and this is the same one she has at her place and it truly helps her with her knee disability when she uses it in the shower. I don't believe mine is misplaced by Amazon, it has to be the USPS who takes mail to the military overseas.

Well made, with rubber feet to protect your tub. Fits in a bathtub but the feet will be in the side bends of the tub. The height adjusts up and down a long ways. It is easy to wash and stays in place when used. An older person may have trouble assembling it because the arms are springy and don't align with the holes without a little forcing. This is normal for this type of product. It's fairly light, but an older person may have trouble getting it out of a tub. It will occupy a third of the space in your tub. It is stable for my 250 pound adult. The arms make standing up an easy stable process. It is awkward to store anywhere but in the tub. I'm happy with the purchase and would replace it if needed. It's holding up well.

This seat does a great job! first off the seat is flat, not curved - so for those of us with hip or back issues, it does a far better at supporting. most seats are curved which can cause issues.Also handles can be removed. I purchased this for after hip surgery. So i removed the handle for the side closest the outside of the tub. This allowed me to sit down sideways while outside the tub and then lift my legs together to get inside the tub. I do have handles built into my tub area, so i depended on those rather than the single remaining handle of the seat.very stable and has been working well for me post-surgery!overall an excellent purchase.

I bought the version with arms, but they are not listed in the product listing and they don't fit the bench. But the bench is exactly what we wanted, and in fact the arms might have been in the way. So don't pay more for them, but this product is good.

Sturdy; it does't wobble or buckle under my nearly 200 pounds, and fits in a narrow tub. The side handles are good for extra help in and out of the tub, and for extra peace of mind that I won't fall to one side or the other, and they can be removed individually if needed. The legs are adjustable for height. Not so easy to assemble because the instructions are not written, they are illustrated, so that's why 4 stars.

Gets the job done. Very nice having the handles on it higher so you can get up and down easier. It was also helpful getting in and out of the shower using it as a walker and putting my bad leg on the chair while I transferred my good foot from bath tub to floor and vice versa.

This was very easy to put together and my hubby really likes it, his old one didn't have arms to use to get up from the seat so I thought this one would work a lot better. It seems to be pretty steady when getting up and sure looks a lot better than his old one. I like that the height is adjustable and the seat is plenty big/ wide for him but he only weighs around 160 so I don't know how it would be for someone that weighed a lot more. I've very pleased,with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone that needs a seat in the shower or bath.

Once assembled, it is sturdy and very functional in a medium sized shower. I am satisfied with the result. As others have mentioned, assembly is straightforward but there is a significant problem with the pins lining up with the holes when placing the arms. After much pushing, pulling and some creative twisting, I finally managed to put the arms securely in place.
