Just got this magnet today very well made very sturdy will pick up 350 pounds. Easy did not try it yet. Just got it today.

These magnets are the strongest magnets I've ever come across. Wow! You can definitely hang heavy things from it. The little loop thing unscrews, leaving a hole straight through, however there is still a nub on the one side, so if you need it to be flat on both sides for any reason, this won't work.

For as small and powerful as this magnet is I would give it a 6 star rating if I could. I stuck it to my 15lb dumbbell and had a tough time getting it off. It so strong that it's something to be reckoned with, while it's still in the box.

Magnet is strong but is pretty small. I guess you could use as a “fishing magnet” but not what I envisioned when I ordered it. It is only slightly bigger around than a quarter, maybe the size of a 50 cent piece. I bought it to retrieve a hammer that fell down inside a wall from the attic on a house I was working on. It worked for that. I gave 4 stars because of the size.

I confess I did not use this for magnet fishing but would like to at some point in the future. I bought this to assist in getting nails and metal debris out of my yard after some home improvement projects. It worked great as the power of the magnet didn't require me to have to drag it directly on the ground. Much stronger then conventional pickup magnets. Just and FYI no rope is included

The magnet is very strong but because of its small size and the fact that it is only magnetic on the bottom, it cannot be used well for magnet fishing. It seems high quality but it will be used for other things because it does not work for magnet fishing.

Pretty Sure of it's a 350lb hold capacity. Not that I have anyway to directly measure the holding capacity other than my brute strength. however, this magnet is strong enough for what I need it for, and that is to use as a handle on the inside of my shipping container door. It sticks up easy , has good holding power as well and was and is very simple to Install. Very versatile.

It is strong, but not as strong as I thought it would be. Trying to get small items off is a challenge. I expected it to be bigger, but it works well for the purposes I use it for. I wouldn't take it to the river for magnet fishing. It's to small.
