Floordirekt PRO Transparent Polycarbonate Floor Protection Mat for Rugs and Carpeted Floors Available in 7 Sizes

Floor mat was delivered on 23rd May 2020 and lasted a couple of months before cracking. I contacted Amazon within their 3 month A-Z policy period and left three messages via their messaging assistant. I have not yet (as of 10th September 2020) had any response from the supplier and when I contacted Amazon they washed their hands of it saying that the 3 month A-Z policy time period had passed, even though initial contact was with the three month period.The floor mat itself is supposed to be suitable for use on carpet, but the material it is manufactured from is too brittle and will not cope with any sort of deflection due to the weight of castors on an office chair. I am not a big bloke but this mat has developed cracks very quickly from first using it. Once the mat has any sort of small crack in it, the mat is as good as finished as cracks very quickly spread. Three months after buying this the cracks have developed into holes and pieces have come out of the mat and the chair mat is now simply not usable.My advice is not to buy this product, or anything from this company. the product is not fit for purpose and the company wont respond to messages. I have been left with a defective product and out of pocket. Amazon have also not helped in anyway whatsoever other than to act as a post box for messages.I have been part of Amazon Prime for many years and this is the first time I have had to ask for their help. Its not been a good experience at all.

When this chair mat arrived my first impression was "Wow, this is heavy!". Removing the contents from its shipping box revealed the tightly rolled polycarbonate mat. My second impression was "Wow, you can't do that with an IKEA chair mat!" because the IKEA mat I had before was very fragile. Since I have something to compare this purchase with, I will continue with the compliments.This mat is tough and durable. I have a pneumatic office chair with a broken buffer ring at the base of the pneumatic column. When in use a piece of metal sticks out and grinds against the floor mat. The IKEA mat didn't stand a chance and was a scratched mess from day one. However, the FloordirectPRO mat has shown no signs of scratching at all. This means I can still see the carpet with clarity beneath it. Another sign of durability is this mat's ability to withstand direct blows.The same defect in my office chair would strike the edge of the mat and crack it when the chair moved off the mat and returned back on it (more often than not it would become stuck against the lip of the mat and I would be pinned between the chair and the desk). But this FloordirectPRO mat has already received some punishing abuse from my chair and not a sign of damage.Finally, the studs beneath this new mat are sufficiently long enough to reduce movement on a dense and medium piled (7mm) carpet. Although it doesn't eradicate slippage altogether (I would have to nail it down to achieve this) it does mean that I don't have to correct it as often as I did with the IKEA mat.Overall I am very impressed with the 120x150cm 100% polycarbonate FloordirectPRO chair mat and very pleased that I chose to purchase one. The quality is exceptional and it will certainly stand the test of time.Now I just need to buy a new office chair...

I purchased this product in late June 2020. After a few weeks I noticed that is was starting to crack and requested a refund. Although Amazon states that a reply to a complaint should be received within 48 hours, no reply has been forthcoming. A few more weeks and the cracks got longer and I complained again, also with no reply. Now the first piece has broken out of the middle and more are likely in the next few days. Now the wheel of my office chair occasionally catches in the hole and at some point it will become a tripping hazard. The product is very thin, obviously wont last and the supplier keeps offering the same type product to other potential buyers. It is a waste of good money. Amazon should step in and stop this product from being offered for sale.

Product started to show severe cracks after a few weeks. Initially notices 2 small cracks appear after 2 weeks (asssumed these were just small defects) however, the number and size continued to grow due to the brittleness of the material . Not expected as the mat is on a flat surface with a standard office chair and used infrequently. Supplier subsequently declined refund request as product was a few days over 30 day returns policy. Purchased product from a separate vendor and have had no further issues. Unless you want a product that is not fit for purpose and unusable after a few weeks - avoid.

cracking piece of equipment, we bought one and then very quickly bought a second one.We work from home, in an office that is carpeted and previous to buying this, moving around on the chairs was a bind and we also got through carpets at a fair rate of knots. We didn't really want to use laminate flooring or vinyl on the floor so sought out a suitable carpet protector.The difference has been very good, I'm around 18 stone and my chair is also quite large and heavy. The protectors cope with that easily, we've had them for well over 6 months now and there are no signs of stress or deterioration and the chairs glide effortlessly over them and saves the carpet from an immense amount of damage.I would highly recommend

i looked all day at these on what to get to protect the carpet from my desk chair, this was expensive and reviews good, BUT, after using for 3 months, it has split, my granddaughter who is 4 was sitting at the computer and suddenly we heard a crack, so not due to weight or anything like that, annoyed to say the least

Nach zwei Monaten durchschnittlicher Nutzung haben sich die ersten kleinen Risse gebildet. Nach fast sechs Monaten war die Unterlage komplett zerbrochen. Der Teppich ist ganz Flach und der Nutzer normalgewichtig. Also dürfte das kein Problem sein.Ich habe insgesamt sechs mal versucht den Verkäufer zu kontaktieren – leider erfolglos. Auch der Amazon Kundenservice zeigte sich nicht hilfsbereit. Der hat ebenfalls nur erfolglos versucht den Verkäufer zu kontaktieren und dann gesagt, dass das wohl Pech sei.Dabei besteht ein halbes Jahr Anspruch auf gesetzliche Gewährleistung!!! Meiner Meinung nach auch von Amazon.Immerhin wurde der Verkäufer mittlerweile bei Amazon gesperrt.Unterlage kaputt, Geld weg.

Kurz gesagt: Im Februar gekauft, normale Nutzung unter dem Schreibtisch. Nicht nur die Kanten brechen ab, auch aus der Mitte der Matte brechen Stücke raus.Keine Kaufempfehlung

Die Matte macht zunaechst einen sehr guten Eindruck. Sie kommt gerollt, aber nach dem Auspacken liegt sie sofort flach.Was sie aber praktisch unbenutzbar macht: Sie wandert auf meinem (relativ langflorigen) Teppich. Nach einem Tag ist sie um etwa 3-4 cm gerutscht. Ich hatte vorher eine kleinere andere, die dieses Problem nicht hatte. Vermutlich liegt es an den relativ kurzen und runden Noppen (die andere hatte schmaerere und spitzere).Nach einem Monat Nutzung ist das Teil an mehreren Stellen gebrochen. Absoluter Schrott.Nicht zu empfehlen.

J’ai acheté cet article pour protéger un parquet. Les griffes moulées dans la face inférieure l’ont complètement défiguré. Catastrophique.

Ich bin soweit sehr zufrieden mit der Unterlage, Sie hat nur paar tage gebraucht um da liegen zu bleiben wo Sie soll. Außerdem ist sehr durchsichtig obwohl sie echt dick ist (ca2,5mm) so kann man auch den Teppich gut sehen und der Raum sieht nicht schlechter aus.Man kann echt gut darauf rollen. Auch auf dickerem Teppich.ALLES TOP siehe meine Bilder, habe Sie jetzt ca. 2 Wochen im Büro im Einsatz.Sonst gibt’s nicht viel zu sagen, gut verpackt und schnell geliefert!Kann Sie klar weiter empfehlen.
