This grit is very fine and sharpen very slowly. This is to be used after you've created an edge with more coarse grits. INSTRUCTION FOR USE: 1. Soak the stone in the water for 5 minutes, put it with rubber holder in the bamboo base on a flat surface. : Step 1:Put the guide on knife. Use 1000grit side for coarse grinding in 10~30 degree angle gently for 15 minutes until the edge is sharp enough. Step 2. Then use 6000 grit side for fine grinding for 10 minutes. Step 3.
