The media could not be loaded. Great size & handles for small projects. Packaging is not made of durable plastic, but for the cost of this set, you cannot beat it!

Fine, but worn down after moderate use with hard wood
I bought these to carve peach pits, which are fairly hard wood - but after only a few days of fairly heavy use by me and 2 of my kids, the edges of a few of the files have worn down and are no longer abrasive. I expect that when buying something that says it can be used for metal and wood, that includes hard wood, and relatively heavy use. Also, the hand of one is slightly detached after putting too much torque on it, which to be fair isn't how it's meant to be used.Next time I probably need to get a higher-carbon steel file.

Great file for machetes and brush axes...
As a land surveyor, I use files to clean up the edges on my machetes and brush axes and so far, this file has done great!

OK for price
Works as it should-pretty much wore out one side sharpening 4 hoes and 2 shovels. All i all not bad for the price. i would buy it again.
