I am not an experienced gardener at all but I felt like giving these a go so I:1) put together a tray full of soil and used the watering can to make it moist (not soggy)2) placed the chilli seeds about 1cm down in to the soil and covered them (along with my tomato seeds on the other side of the tray)3) covered the tray with cling film to trap the moisture4) placed the tray in a light place in the conservatory (I did this mid-April so it got a lot of warmth from direct sunlight)My tomato seeds sprouted very quickly (few days) and the chilli's have come through about 2 weeks later! The 'Habanero - Orange' is the slowest and only 3 seeds have come through but this is okay and I am very impressed with how many other chilli seeds are doing well! The 'JalapeƱo pepper' seems to be the quickest and most successful of the chilli's to have grown! I am excited to see them grow and have some chilli's later in the year! :-)

7 weeks in and I have 40 seedlings
I bought these for a bit of fun and decided to grow them on a large window cill at work just above a radiator for lots of natural light and some extra warmth. The seeds come in small individual packets but there are no instructions or guidance. However, I planted them into compost bought from the local garden centre and got the first shoots after about two weeks. Seven weeks on I now have around 40 of the 60 seeds that have sprouted. The Halapeno have been the most vigorous (about 1.5 - 2 inches tall now) followed by the ring of fire and then the Habenero. The Hungarian hot wax however have almost completely failed. I only have two of the tiniest shoots out of the 15 seeds after 7 weeks. Maybe they just need more TLC, time or are more sensitive to the surroundings that I have placed them in. Either way, 40 out of 60 is not bad and I do not have green fingers and have just done this for a bit of fun. They have created a bit of interest at work and have become a small talking point with people starting to ask if they can have one on their desk once they have come on a little more and I have planted them into larger individual pots.

Ok - arrived in plain packaging
The seeds came in plain silver packets with the name off each seed type on, which is fine for own use, but as I bought them as part of a gift, with a propagator etc for a big chilli fan, I would have preferred that they were in an envelope with a picture or bit of explanation. Lets just hope the seed grow! :-)

Very impressed
I planted 16 of the seeds expecting only a few to germinate, however they all did and now I have 16 pretty big chilli plants lol. Chillis haven't come yet, but will update if/when they do. Very impressed so far, loads of seeds left over too!

Not 100% germination achieved .
Disliked the germination percentage which was not at all uniform or stabilised in any way, all in all they were a bit disappointing !

Poor quality
I've bought several packs of these seeds now and they consistently fail to germinate. At first I assumed this was my own lack of skill, but I got another chilli set and those work without fail.
