Great Mic, would recommend.
The Mic is amazing for the price with its different functions, Solid frame and amazing quality. The frequency is amazing for a Mic of this price being able to receive upto 24bit 192kHz.The multiple different settings can be handy, as if your by yourself you can use the cardioid function but if your with a group you could use the omnidirectional function. The inclusion of the xlr is a nice addition, adding the ability to mix or adapt the output, or you can just as easily plug it in and go. As it works well with little messing around. To conclude I'd highly recommend the Blue Yeti Pro to those who are after a great Mic experience.

Fantastic microphone with lots of uses.
Nothing to complain about. Works very well for interviews, foley, and good old voip. It packs some firepower and the price isn't too cheap either, so think twice whether you need this before buying.

Like the standard yeti models
In lieu of the exceptional build quality and the glut of extras that come with the Yeti Pro - it's a slightly more cumbersome beast to the standard Yeti when it comes to everyday use (aside from the extra driver download required).I've had to unplug and reconnect the yeti pro every time I restart my computer, otherwise it fails to pick up any input, in spite of the on-board monitor still functioning. Like the standard yeti models, the mode change switch is incredibly cumbersome and stiff to use from behind the microphone, and unless adequately tightened, the loose microphone has a tendency to swing backwards and dent the base it rests on.These problems aside, I honestly don't think I'll ever want for another USB microphone. The Yeti Pro is an intimidating prospect, and has so far delivered an impeccable standard for speech, vocals and instrument recording. Also this microphone in its stand is so weighty, if a rampaging wild animal came into the studio, you could kill it - though you may dent the base... and it may invalidate your warranty.

This mic has been given a bad reputation
I bought this mic in 2012, and i have had no trouble with it so far. People complain its not sensitive enough, its a studio mic they are either using it wrong or have the gain down too low. IMHO it is too sensitive. I would say i am an audiophile (a person enthusiastic about high-fidelity sound reproduction) and this mic is perfect for me.Watch out though, if you have it on the same surface as you mouse it will pick up the slightest bump(i am looking into the blue radius atm, shame on amazon for not having it tut tut). I near deafen people if an aeroplane flies over my house, so be weary when using it for skype ect.I probably don't use the mic to its full extent, i do use it for youtube videos (who doesn't do those now a days though)An annoying problem that comes with the mic though is that to get the full range of quality out of this mic you have to go into windows settings and change the sample rate to 24 bit 192000 Hz which blue cant help because its a windows thing.Anyway to round this up. I would buy another if I had to, and would recommend to a friend, and if you are on the fence about buying one, don't be put off by the dodgy reviews on this mic, i put my faith in Blue when i bought this mic and i was expecting to have to deal with their customer service but mine was fine. Lately there have been even more 5 star reviews and if that isn't enough check the american reviews. Absolutely Fantastic
Absolutely fantastic microphone! If you're looking for a multi-purpose microphone that is ideal for recording narration, group talks, or interviews, this is a must buy!It also looks stunning and professional. And it even comes with a headphone port for listening to your music. Not to mention the audio quality is astounding, I've worked my way through many microphones in my years and this is, by far, the best!I give it 10/10 - An amazing masterpiece!

Just unlucky, got a faulty one. Background hiss.
Im sure this may well be an excellent MIC, unfortunately not for us. I bought it knowing it had both USB and XLR, best of both worlds we thought. The USB had a slight background hiss which was annoying and had to be filtered out with software. Plugging it into the XLR using a UR24C, well, it may have been better being next to a motorway at rush hour. Ours must have been a faulty one based on other reviews. However, it was enough to put us of Yeti's. So, decided to go for the Rode NT1 complete kit instead. A dedicated XLR with interface included. Needless to say if you buy this, just make sure both USB and XLR are working as expected.

Great, but not for everyone.
It does what it promised. Be aware that all extensions, arms, pop filters, shock absorbers will cost you much more than for competitors. Make sure to buy case for it-it is essential for the product.Young youtubers, think twice before purchase :) it is a semi pro mic - needs booth, soundproofing and can be used in a very specific conditions. My experience is that most of the people that buy blue yeti need in fact lavalier mic.think twice, as you may be disappointed, even though it is the best usb mic I have ever used (if no true need to use with usb, buy other ones). I recommend silent ultrabooks for recording - fan in standard laptop or pc can ruin your recording (just as fridge, clock, neighbours, street sounds or noisy chair.. the list is endless with this kind of mic).

A surprisingly great mic
Genuinely one of the best microphones I've bought in a very long time, great for use in most situations, home studio, performance and radio. The clarity is really good and I've had no trouble with it at all.Recommended
