Karndean Flooring Clean Start Kit Floor Sealing Floor Care Kit Dim Glow Refresh Routine Cleaner Basic Stripper

Recommended by our flooring fitter, we were a little sceptical at first but equally concerned that use of normal wet floor cleaners would shorten the life of what was a rather expensive floor.Bought this kit and have never regretted it. Top tip from our fitter was to prepare the normal diluted cleaning solution mix and keep it in a thoroughly pre- washed formed domestic spray e.g. Dettox, Mr Muscle etc. Then spray a very light mist on to the floor and use a dedicated mop/foam head. We did that and use it every week on our halls's Karndean. Excellent results with 'as new' appearance.The cleaner lasts a long time as a very small amount has to be diluted with a large amount of water. Can see this taking years to use up!So far, no need to use the stripper and sealer but friends of ours have as they have heavy outdoor shoe traffic and the results are equally impressive.Easily recommended.

Bought the kit as we have Karndean flooring in most rooms downstairs and bathroom/ensuite upstairs and wanted to get manufacturer recommended cleaning solutions. All I can say is excellent stuff - has brought my kitchen floor back to looking like new again after some fairly abusive treatment since moving in. Follow the instructions, that's all I need to say. The only issue was with the glacial pace of the shipping/dispatch from the supplier - waited a long time (nearly 2 weeks) for product to be delivered and it wasn't packaged too securely either. Never mind though, I got it in the end and it'll last quite a long time too as it's very concentrated stuff.

The Sealing Kit arrived the day following my placing of the order. Quite pricey for what you receive, but Abbey Carpets price quoted and terms were the best available. Floor "came up like new" through following the enclosed instructions. However, as I do not have a very large area to maintain, I find it much more economical to use a soft paint brush to apply the neat Refresh finishing coating, as I find the use of the enclosed Refresh Pad to be rather wasteful.

Having had some new Karndean fitted, I thought I would do the decent thing and purchase this cleaning kit. I have to say at the outset it has done a good job, but it is very expensive.I think personally it would be far better if you could purchase the items separately. There are three bottles in the box - dim glow, refresh and clean, but as in my case, I have and will only be using the clean bottle in the short term. It might be another 12 months or so before I decide to refresh/dim glow the flooring. Will the refresh/dim glow last that long? There is also a mop head and some furniture floor protectors in there - once again, my view is that these are a waste of time. As in my case, I had a perfectly good mop and mop head, and I had already bought some furniture protectors off eBay for 99p.So, overall the kit is OK. However, balancing cost and how I will be using the materials over the time frame involved, the best I can give this product is 3*.

Bought this kit to revive, rep,enlist and clean my karndean floors. Watched the karndean video on YouTube to establish the correct method. Everything worked well and the floors have taken on a whole new look. Have to say when the cleaning process was being completed the dirt lifted off was immense

I am not a lover of floor cleaning but as we have just had a new kitchen fitted with a Karndean floor I decided to bite the bullet and try to keep it looking as smart as possible. The flooring is'nt cheap so that was another reason for buying this cleaning kit.The kit arrived promptly - thank you to the supplier - and I set to work. The whole cleaning operation was as painless as I hoped and the finished result is just what I wanted, excellent without too much strenuous effort. Life is too short to be cleaning floors too often!
