To me rubbish
Purchased this as am COPD sufferer and have been told by specialist nurse told it would be ideal to track my oxegen saturation and pulse rate whilst sleeping. This from description seamed ideal but no i have yet to get a spo2 reading and the programs seam to always want to count the number steps and does so, i am wheelchair bound and the blood pressure has not moved from 120/80 I suffer from hypertension and bp is always high until medicated in morningSo this item has yet to perform as described and certainly has yet to perform as was hoped forSo a useless purchase and am highly disappointed

The most accurate activity tracker I've used.
I particularly like the fact that I can choose how to wear it, as it has both a watch strap and a clothing clip. I've had other well-known brand activity trackers that can only be worn on the wrist and found that the step counter is easily fooled by arm movements, but I get a much more accurate account of calorie expenditure by wearing the Pulse Ox on my clothing. I also like that way it doesn't assume I'm sleeping if I don't move for a while, and yet it will wake up if it detects lots of movement on the odd occasion I've forgotten to manually wake it up. The Withings Health Mate app and website give me all the data from my Pulse Ox, Body Analyser Scales and BP Cuff in a clear and easy to understand format, and it integrates well with My Fitness Pal.Withings may not have the advertising budget of other brands but their design and functionality, as well as their excellent customer service, make them head and shoulders above the rest for me.

Little more than a gimmick
Having had this for around 2 weeks I can only say it is little more than a gimmick.I was looking forward to tracking my activity across walks, runs and football, but it cannot differentiate between the three. According to the Pulse Ox, I burn the same calories regardless of the intensity of the exercise, for example a 1 hour session, playing 5 a side football burns only 150 calories!!I cannot recommend this product for anything other than walking and for that you can get a free app on your phone!!

but I love it, it works
Okay I got mine cheap, but I love it, it works! I'll admit I wanted a fitbit charge HR or a fitbit surge but I couldn't afford them. This isn't waterproof but its been out in the rain. It sometimes doesn't record steps if I'm slouching about slowly, but frankly it shouldn't be recording those. For the price I paid (just under £50) it was a bargain and it works with my older model android phone. The app works fine, and the software gives you pretty graphs on your computer. (It works by bluetoothing your phone and then your phone updating withings with your data which you can then view via your phone or your pc, you can't download direct to your PC, you can however quickly force a download so I tend to do that last thing at night). I've had no problem with the battery life (so far) and recharge it every five or six days.

Great product for keeping track of pulse
Great product for keeping track of pulse, weight , blood pressure etc but unfortunately the wrist band holder is useless and within two weeks of purchasing the unit it fell out and I lost it.Have bought another as I like the unit but this time I will sellotape it in which shouldn't be necessary and will look awful, please redesign the holder so that it cannot slip out so easily as this will be a on going issue.Update , second one arrived but then developed a fault which they replaced foc but that one also developed a fault and i am now waiting for Withings to replace it as well. Maybe not as good as i first thought

Good I guess if it works
my one arrived and would not hold a charge, would not reset, would not sync to set it up. I have a feeling that amazon may have a bad batch so I've sent it back and purchased another from Currys. i just hope this one will work. Time will tell.Still interested as it is more health activity monitor than fitnessPurchased another from Currys, this had a fault after one week, but withings have replaced it free of charge, so for customer service 5 stars. This device has such good potential, especially if you are also able to enter the blood pressure data, fat % etc. The app really builds up to give you a pretty good picture of your overall health.I would love to give the device more stars, but as I have not had one that works I cant. The app though is 4 stars

SpO2 not really worth having.
Basically OK. The SpO2/Ox isn't really worth having because your reading will be one of 97%, 98%, 99% unless you are dead i.e. the range and precision is so small as to be meaningless. This isn't a fault of the equipment - It's just how we are.

... smashed this up with a hammer after spending the best part of two hours unsuccessfully trying to pair to ...
I very nearly smashed this up with a hammer after spending the best part of two hours unsuccessfully trying to pair to my Samsung Galaxy S5!!It refused to pair with my wifes S3 mini either.I then dug my old S3 out of a drawer for one final attempt before sending it back.Lo and behold it paired up and worked exactly as I was hoping for when I first opened the box. (after charging for two hours)As if by magic it has also appeared on my S5 since pairing with the S3 earlier.Almost like a "Jump Start" for reluctant Bluetooth devices!!!Just what I needed to run alongside "My Fitness Pal" in my latest attempt to lose some weight.I would ideally like to have the time displayed continuously but data seems accurate enough so far.
