To be honest, the primary reason I bough this is because I spent 12 years as a research scientist and used to use it in the lab on a daily basis to seal sample tubes and agar plates. I've missed it. So when I found a leaky gutter that needed a temporary fix, rather than reaching for the duct tape I bought parafilm. Just as wonderfully pliable as it ever was and requiring that special technique of patient (and satisfying) pulling, warming and stretching, but not too much, otherwise it snaps. I look forward to using it to seal my jam jar lids and anything else I can think to use it for.

Wow! I have recently started my own business and for some products I use glass bottles with cork lids, which were too loose, which led to me searching for something to seal it together. This is absolutely fantastic. I recommend for anyone. At first I wondered how it would stick but when you hold it in place and start wrapping it around the neck of the bottle it just moulds around it clinging on and sealing it together nicely.

Great for sealing petri dishes.
