If you value protection over portability, this is the case for you. Check dimensions carefully - I did, and it fits the 3/4 size Spanish guitar I bought it for very snugly. The lining is lovely, there's a handy compartment for tuners, spare strings, picks etc, and the case is sturdy enough to survive children. It is not, however, exactly light. I mean it's light for what it is, but it's not casually-sling-it-accross-your-back light, nor does it have a shoulder strap, nor is the handle particularly comfortable. But it will protect your instrument very well.

So today I received this guitar case. The case is good quality, latches are good protection is good the inside of it is good... however the one i received was damaged. On that morning about 2 hours after receiving the item I sent it back to Amazon via Hermes free of charge to a one-stop pick up point. It's 23:05 pm and I've already got my refund from Amazon. Same day refund. Overall the case is great I just got unlucky.

Bought as a Christmas present for my son for his epiphone casino. Unfortunately when he unwrapped it Christmas Day although packed well the lock and lock latch were damaged and falling apart. A bit disappointing and poor quality control but my son didn’t want go through all the bother of returning it and getting another one so he’s decided to use it as it is and see if he can get it repaired locally later on. Who locks a guitar case anyway?

Bought to protect a Fender ESC80 3/4 size classical guitar. Perfect and excellent value. Case is heavier than a gig bag because it is a solid construction obviously. It is no heavier than other hard shell cases. This will offer far more protection over the life of the instrument for about the same price as a sturdy gigbag.Tips: Always measure your guitar before purchasing a case. If your guitar is a looser fit pad it out with some bubble wrap, towelling or foam.

I bought this for my Epiphone Thunderbird (2014 model), which is supposed to be the same size as the Gibson. Sadly my T'bird is about an inch too long for the snug interior, so I have had to return it.I believe that some older T'birds (Gibson and Epiphone) have larger headstocks than more recent ones, so maybe this is the problem. Which is a shame, because the case was otherwise excellent.

Can't even survive delivery, in one piece. So, has no chance of protecting your or my bass, from damage.This wasn't bad luck, as the replacement case sent was also damaged. I've now requested a refund.Don't buy, you're just giving yourself a whole lot of heartache.

I am lucky enough to own a little martin guitar and was looking for a hard case to protect my baby. This case is cheap, but of great qaulity, robust with good fittings and a nice furry inside to protect your guitar. there is also a small storage compartment for your capo, spare strings,tuner etc. My little martin fits well, not perfect but close enough and does not move around when closed. A bespoke case would cost a lot more than this and to be honest would not provide more protection. if you have a little martin, baby taylor etc and want a hard case, get this now.

I own a turn of the 20th century parlour guitar which I rebuilt a few years ago. Beautiful but small body with lovely tone. I needed a solid case for travel this year. (I have a case already which is fine but big.)I measured and re-measured the guitar to compare with the measurements shown for the case and ordered it. It arrived and to my surprise it fit perfectly! I was very pleased. VERY PLEASED!The quality of the build and fittings (hinges, latches, lock and handle) are all first rate. The inner lining and padding fit around the guitar snugly but are not tight. The total package is Excellent Quality...and superb value for money. It feels solid and I feel will protect the guitar very well.Let's hope the airlines don't test it to hard.
