Reliable Outdoor Gear Professional Boy Scout Compass - Liquid Filled, Rotating Bezel, Magnetic Heading - for Navigation, Orienteering and Survival

I ordered 3 of these to use when teaching Boy Scouts how to use compasses. All of the compasses I received worked well and had no air bubbles in the liquid and the rotating bezel rings were snug yet easy to turn without being too loose. Overall I am impressed for the price I paid which was only about 15 to 25% of what I found at most camping and sporting goods stores for a similar compasses.

Item arrived on time, well packaged and seem to work well. I’d bought two as stocking stuffers for Christmas gifts for my adult kids. I personally love camping and hiking and decided to develop an outdoorsy theme for their stockings, these were part of them. Me to be nice enough items that I’m sure will hold up well to normal usage.

This is a very functional compass at a reasonable price. No matter what direction I face, the North and South arms remain pointed in their intended directions! Feels like magic but I know it's just science. I also thoroughly enjoy the fluorescent and brilliant green-yellow body.

This compass has a large easy to read (without my glasses) bezel. My only complaint is sometimes the bezel will fall off the compass.

I bought a bunch of these for an upcoming transmitter hunt. These are all you need to take a reading and draw a vector on a map. The fluid damping works. I expect these will be just what we need. If not, I'll come back and update my review.

Very nice map and trail compass. I like the color and design. Comes with a string lanyard. Great value!
