Pros:Very good sound quality, upper end is very crisp and at maximum volume is impressively loud with very minimal distortionVery good build quality, feels extremely durable and being waterproof and dust proof is great for me as I take it to work with meBattery life is noticeably good, I've used it for a couple of hours here and there thought the day and gone to check the battery level and been surprised by how much charge was leftVery good value for moneyCons:The tap and double tap to play and pause is a little hit and miss, sometimes you'll want to skip and it will pause or won't recognise the taps at all, so can sometimes be a bit annoyingIf the battery fully runs out it has to charge for about 15 minutes or so before it will let you use the device at all which can be annoying, but can be easily avoided by keeping an eye on the battery levelWith my device the charging can be very awkward, you have to adjust the wires sometimes which you wouldn't expect from a new product, not sure if this is a common problem or notThe bass is very slightly lacking, but this is more than made up for with the crispness and clarity of the higher end notesVerdict:Overall I'm very impressed with this speaker and would recommend this product, the value for money is great and the fact its waterproof and dustproof leads me to believe this product should last

Really good speaker, loud, good base, long lasting battery life and easy to use and connect.

I bought this product feeling slightly hesitant after reading reviews about it. However upon it's arrival I realised I'd made the right choice. The sound quality for a Bluetooth speaker of its spec/size/price is second to none. It is so crystal clear and with the perfect balance of treble/bass/high tones. Many people were disappointed with the bass - but unless you're wanting to host some warehouse rave (which, why would you with a Bluetooth speaker) then you aren't missing out. I've hosted many many house parties as this point with it and my speaker has always been the go to; it's worth mentioning that two of my flatmates both own the Bose Soundlink mini II, and even they prefer my speaker. Not just because of the better/clearer sound quality, but because of the ease of connecting to it via Bluetooth, and also the volume that it can go up to is ridiculous. I have never needed to turn it up to full.All in all this is an amazing product that I have had no problems with, I often take it in the shower with me because it is splash proof and can be submerged. It is a very hardy speaker and you feel very safe with it. Also has a great looking design and is super portable.

I’ve had this a while and it’s always been a good little speaker, but this year it went missing in about jan only to turn up on the back of a truck after driving round the north of England for 6 weeks open to all the elements between inspections, only needing a quick charge and it worked perfectly then recently it fallen from a balcony while work away which I was certain was the end of it but as a I reached the speaker it was perfectly fine minus a slight dint on the side it’s a tough piece of a equipment something that’s rare to see in this day in age, it’s easy to use and worth every penny

3rd BOOM 2 Lite, not because the previous have failed but because they are so impressive.I also own a BOOM 2 & a MEGABOOM, and the partyup function makes for a pretty outstanding sound system.Prices vary but anything sub-£70 is an absolute steal for these.For what it's worth there is no difference between the 'Lite' and usual BOOM 2, bar the inclusion of a plug, if you have an abundance of usb plugs it will make no difference and if you don't buying one & a lite works out cheaper anyway as they are often on offer.Battery life at max volume is a slight letdown (4/5 hours) however with a collection of them I rarely go beyond 70% volume and so get 10+ hours with ease.Sound quality is superb for the price, no they aren't Bose or B&O clarity or depth but you can probably get 4 or more for the price of 1 of those.Bass on the BOOM 2 is acceptable but at max volume there is some minor distortion (again I rarely require max volume so becomes moot for me), If you want solid and clear bass invest in a MEGABOOM I have no complaints at all for the larger speaker.

I've had Minirigs for years, since they came out. Been through about 4 of them, while at the time I thought they were the best thing ever lately I have been dissapointed with their toughness. A drop from about 1 meter onto tarmac left 2 of the plastic cone mounting points shattered. Plus not waterproof, and the short round shape which does look nice is actually highly inconvenient for carrying. Searched around a bit until I decided to give UE a try, the Boom2 seemed to be roughly equivalent to a minirig.Firstly the build quality is very high. The thing is properly tough, and waterproof. I have dropped it, splashed it, had it bounce around an all terrain forklift cab for over a week with absolutely no problems at all.It's also very loud. Louder than the Minirig, and definitely a better sound reproduction.The shape and feel of it are very good, it's drinks can shape fits in pockets nicely, The synthetic fabric and hard rubber surfaces are resilient and easy to clean. The bluetooth connectivity is idiot proof and works flawlessly.The only thing Minirig has over this is battery life, I'd say you get a few more hours out of a Minirig on a full charge, but to be honest about 8 hours of full volume playing is plenty.

1) J'enregistre de la Pop, de la Progressive (Genesis V1), l'Indus et parfois du rock énervé dans mon propre studio analogique/numérique.J'écoute souvent mes mix sur une Boom, ce qui est assez éloigné du rendu "droit" de mes enceintes de contrôle.Le rendu est assez bon !2) J'ai 2 mômes, nous avons donc chacun la notre. Les Boom entrent parfaitement dans les portes gobelets de nos VTT.3) Lorsque mes enfants font des soirées, il n'est pas rare qu'il viennent piquer la mienne, et avec le logiciel installé sur téléphone, ils chainent les 3 Boom.Niveau son, ils sont éclectiques, avec une tendance vers le Rap "cool" (Orelsan, San-Nom, Spider Zed).Là aussi les "Boom" font merveille !-------------------------------------Alors parlons "qualité du son" puisque certains trouvent ces enceintes "nulles" ^^Rendu sonore : elles sont puissantes avec une faible distorsion. La restitution est précise.A fort volume, avec un mix compressé les basses sont présentes, avec des baffles qui encaissent sans effet de "pompage".Les aigus sont un peu en retrait, les voix bien présentes.Ceci étant dit, sur l'appli vous avez un EQ assez efficace.Bref un rendu flatteur, mais relativement homogène au final.Au moment de l'achat, c'était les seules enceintes dont la diffusion sonore était diffusion omnidirectionnelle à 360° : rien à dire de ce côté là, où que nous soyons positionné, la musique est présente.Les Boom sont très robuste : avec 2 grands ados faut du solide ^^Elles sont waterproof : sympa sous la douche, en canoé, à la piscine !L'appairage en Bluetooth sous Android est rapide, même avec 3 Boom ^^Attention le Bluetooth capte "loin" : 40m sans soucis !L'enceinte dispose d'un micro pour la fonction kit mains libres.Très bonne autonomie pour une longue soirée festive (à la maison elles sont branchées en permanence).Un regret pour l'USB qui est d'un ancien type.

Die Musikqualität ist sowohl bei leisen als auch bei sehr lauten Wiedergaben überzeugend.Was nicht so stark wie bei anderen Boxen ist, ist der Bass. Dies wusste ich aber schon vorher aus zahlreichen Tests. Dafür sind die tiefen, mittleren und hohen Töne wirklich sehr gut und klar.Was ich vorher nicht kannte ist die App, welche man sich herunterladen kann. Hier kann man zahlreiche Einstellungen vornehmen und die Wiedergabe über einen Equalizer steuern. Auch kann man hier Akkustand und sämtliche anderen Dinge ablesen. Riesengroße positive Überraschung.Zum Akku des Lautsprechers möchte ich folgendes sagen: Bei mittellautem Musikgenuss oder bei hören von "Hintergrundmusik" hält der Akku deutlich länger als angegeben. Bei lautem Musik-Hören ist die Akku-Kapazität mehr als ausreichend.Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist, dass zwar ein Kabel beiliegt, allerdings kein Angschluss an die normale Wechselspannung aus der Steckdose. Die Box nennt als Input 5,1V 2A Gleichstrom. Leider habe ich kein Netzteil, was diese Werte liefert. Mit dem normalen "Handy-Ladekabel" ist die Ladezeit allerdings nicht wirklich groß und die Box lädt vollständig und rasch auf.Die Bluetooth-Verbindung klappt ebenfalls problemfrei.Alles in allem ein Produkt was für seinen Preis unglaublich viel liefert. Ich würde jedem, der nicht den härtesten Bass möchte, dafür aber gute Qualität über das gesamte Frequenzspektrum, zu diesem Produkt raten.

Muy buen sonido, muchos graves y de calidad, la batería dura mucho, aunque si subimos mucho el volumen, durará bastante menos. Se puede configurar como despertador, el idioma con el que te da la información de bateria, volumen, etc, es en castellano. Tiene una aplicación para móviles o tablet, con la que puedes configurar muchas más cosas, por ejemplo ecualizador, añadir más altavoces, etc.Tiene carga rápida y cable USB incluido. No incluye cargador, como si aparece en imágenes de otros usuarios. La versión que yo he comprado no trae cargador usb, solo el cable.

Very happy with the boom lite - an excellent product. The bass is really good!
