Adorable!
These books are so fun and educational! I can’t wait to read them to my baby when he’s born!

Great for all levels on young readers
My son and I love this series of books. The ABCs of Science is printed in a way that it is easy for non-science degreed parents to read and/or abbreiviate parts of the book without incorrectly summarizing complex science topics. I love learning, and relearning, scientific principals with an alphabet theme as I read this to my son. This has been one of his favorite board books to sneak when he thinks we are asleep, hard to get mad at a kid who wants to learn!

Science!
Bought for my three year old but really more for me. She picks the book out because "it makes mama happy." I do get overly excited. Like that there are 3 levels to read for different stages of understanding. Not sure how much she is understanding but maybe it'll make the concepts easier down the road for her.

Definitely useful beyond the board book stage!
Such a cute book! All of my kids love this book the baby loves the pictures and having us point out words and letters. The kindergartener loves reading the simple colorful sentences under the illustrations(Ex. “Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table.”)And my grade schooler loves the more detailed explanations. On the back they tour this as an ABC book that grows with your reader and based on my experience I can say they succeeded. It gets read daily and I love that I can see all of my kids reading the same book and get a moment of quiet while they’re doing it. I need the whole series! I’m having a hard time not ordering all of the books in the baby university series. I’m not one to hold on to books as they outgrow them, but this is going to be one of the ones I keep.

Great books
I'd gotten this for my niece's birthday, but my 12 year old loved it enough I had to get another one LOL. Great information--the word, a brief description, and a bit more information. Pick the level of complexity you want to deal with. We found it entertaining. No, they are not the super thick board books you'd give to a heavily teething baby. But they will work for those who don't quite have the dexterity to flip paper pages, and more fun for the adult to read to them than a lot of baby books.

Good Science Baby Book
We have a lot of fun with this book. We typically just go through the motions of reading the letter and what it stands for and I usually make up a silly voice for what I think different things sound like. I have heard people complain about the book being too wordy for the definitions of the words, but we just skip over those. When she gets older and has a longer attention span, we can go through what the different things are.

Great book but also lacking context
Great book for kids but missing a lot of key info on some topics which is expected as a kids book. Could definitely open the conversation to new topics

Great book! No kid is too young to learn how the world works!
I have a PhD in biology, and still learned something from reading this book! So when they claim that this book can be read to babies, toddlers and older kids, I'd say they can safely increase the age bracket to include grown-ups. I managed to read the whole book in one sitting, though, so that PhD paid off ; )Seriously, though, I think this makes a great book for kids age 3-4 and up. Younger kids can learn their ABCs and new words, and older kids can take it as a starting point to then go learn more about things on their own.
