I found this pet playhouse is a great way to contain my sweet 4-week-old kitten while I fix her bottle and at night when we all go to bed. She can see me through the mesh so she doesn't get upset or scared, especially helpful because she just lost her mother. There's room for a small (shoe-box size) catbox plus I bought an "Amazon add-on" catbox for under $3 and filled it with blankets for her bed (and can use it for its intended purpose later on) - and there's room for food and water bowls when she starts feeding herself. I'm keeping the top unzipped now, but I'll be able to close it when she gets big enough to climb or jump out. Floor is very thin but easy to clean, does not leak and seems durable. This was the least expensive foldable pet playpen I could find and I think I chose wisely and saved money, too. One thing that isn't made clear in the description is that the top is mostly made of mesh screen with only a small solid section so it doesn't provide shade outside. I don't think this is a problem - I can always cover it with a blanket if shade is needed. I recommend this for a kitten or small cat, but it's very light and a larger cat or pretty much any size active puppy or dog would easily be able to tip it over and roll it, and it doesn't have any tie-down straps. I will just sew on some straps or use a really long strap around the circumference if I need to anchor it, so this isn't an issue for me - I just wanted to describe this product better so potential buyers know what to expect. Some other reviews show photos of the tipped-over pet playpen as they found it when they returned home after leaving their pets alone, check those out if you need more info. I'd say I'm 100% happy with my purchase based on price, material quality and useability.

I got this playpen for my daughter for use with her foster kittens; both daughter and kittens are in my home. She uses this play pen in the living room while we are hanging out watching TV. It fits between 3 and 5 kittens (with small litter box) just fine, but we do only keep the kittens until they are around 8 weeks old. The playpen is on the small side, but it has worked well for our purposes. It also collapses really well. So well that I don't even know where she keeps it when it's not in use!Larger kittens or cats would try to claw their way out or just jump out over the top.

When I first opened this up I didn't think about the fact it said unfade memory printed somewhat slanted. I felt the product looked nice. It seems well made. I bought it to let my cat Bruno outside. He can jump over my fence and I don't want him to do that so I looked into trying one of these to allow him to be outside. I have a pet stroller to let him outside too, but i wanted to give him a little more freedom. This small size is about the same size as a blow up baby pool for a baby. I had him out yesterday in it and he loved it. When i bought it inside both my cats were taking naps in it. If you put a cushion in it, it would make a great and inexpensive pet bed. When i brought it in at night and really had time to think about the printing on it and I looked it up on Amazon and it shows it as having paw prints printed all around it. There is not suppose to be any wording. Unfade memories doesn't make sense. That's the main reason I gave it 3 stars. If it was printed correctly with the cute little paw print on the front I would have given at least 4 stars. If it last more than 9 months through cat claws I would give it 5 stars. I emailed Amazon about the issue of the printing and they are reaching out to the sellers. If all of them are printed with unfade memories on it, it should reflect that in the pictures.

This product, in my opinion, was as advertised: lightweight, portable, not too big and not too small. It is just right for my daughter's new tiny Yorkie puppy. When my husband and I were petsitting our grandpuppy (I know... we are so corny), I kept the top zipped up and didn't have to worry about bugs getting to him or leaves falling on him. This top can be completely removed and reconnected, if desired. The zippered door is awesome! If desired, the door can be left open. Just unzip it, roll it and connect the pieces of velcro! That simple! The only (minor) drawbacks are, it is not very tall and the floor is silky. Our pooch decided to dig for gold and we had to redirect his focus. It works. I would definitely recommend this puppy playpen. Our puppy now treats it like a place to retreat when he wears himself out playing with our other dogs. I have decided to treat my daughter to another larger puppy play pen. (Our puppy seems to have springs in his feet and jumps really high!

We have a 10 month old, 5 pound morky. She always travels with us so we have wanted a large contained area where she would have plenty of room for her bed, water, food & toys. New environments can sometimes have safety issues so having a kennel along provides pet security. Unfortunately, kennels can also be bothersome to bring along. We tried this one out for the 1st time on a trip to Canada. It easily fit in the bottom of our suitcase & is so lightweight that added luggage weight is not an issue. It is the perfect size we needed, almost as big as a child's playpen. We made sure to fully pop out all the frame angles and zip both the top & the door closed when we had to leave our girl. So...Although we had heard some concern over it folding up with the pet in it, we had no troubles whatsoever with it and are really thankful to have it for her comfort & safety.

We have used this playpen for outside, inside, at work, and even as a carseat when she outgrew the basket we would put her in. It works fine as a portable playpen that will keep your pet generally contained. However, it is easy to chew through or on and very easy to knock over. When my puppy is in my sight, she doesn't try to get out of it, but the other day I brought her to work and when i left the room for 2 minutes, she managed to knock it over (spilling her waterdish everywhere) and poop on my bosses expensive rug. So, do not expect it to keep a rambunctious puppy who tried jumping out of enclosures, penned in. I love the portability and versatility of the product!
