Collection of anime series based on the Marvel Comics characters. In 'Iron Man', Tony Stark (voice of Adrian Pasdar) travels to a power station in Japan where a special type of armour is being developed to replace him when he retires. The episodes are: 'Japan', 'Going Nuclear', 'Reap the Whirlwind', 'A Twist of Memory, A Turn of Mind', 'Outbreak', 'Technical Difficulties', 'At the Mercy of My Friends', 'Daughter of the Zodiac', 'A Duel of Iron', 'Casualties of War', 'The Beginning of the End' and 'Endgame'. In 'X-Men', Professor X (Cam Clarke) and his X-Men embark on a journey to Japan to confront the U-Men who are abducting young mutants and harvesting their organs. The episodes are: 'The Return', 'U-Men', 'Armour', 'Transformation', 'Power', 'Conflict', 'Betrayal', 'Lost', 'Revelations', 'Countdown', 'Revenge' and 'Destiny'. In 'Wolverine', Logan (Milo Ventimiglia) learns that his girlfriend Mariko (Gwendoline Yeo) has been kidnapped by her father Shingen (Fred Tatasciore) and taken to Japan to marry a suitor of his choice. As Logan plans to rescue his love he must face Shingen's men and obstacles put in his way. The episodes are: 'Mariko', 'Yukio', 'Kikyo', 'Omega Red', 'Asano', 'Min', 'Vadhaka', 'Koh', 'Hell Road', 'Shingen', 'Kurohagi' and 'Logan'. The collection also includes the feature film 'Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and Punisher' (2014), directed by Kenichi Shimizu. When the Punisher (Brian Bloom) makes a mess of a mission he has been assigned, Black Widow (Jennifer Carpenter) is dispatched to retrieve him and bring him back to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. There, director Nick Fury (John Eric Bentley) briefs the duo on an even more important mission: to prevent the terrorist group Leviathan from making use of stolen S.H.I.E.L.D. technology. Can the Punisher redeem himself and help foil the plot?

a great anime boxset
This is an excellent DVD boxset - available at a very reasonable price. It consists of 3 animated series (Wolverine, X-Men, and Iron Man) and a 1 animated movie (Avengers Confidential: Black Widow / Punisher). Each of the series is approx. 4hr 30mins long, and the film is about 80mins long. This collection is made-up of the recent 'anime' Marvel productions (the only series not included is that of Blade: Marvel Blade: Animated Series [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]).These are artistically excellent, with a somewhat unique stylistic interpretation of the characters. The storylines are complex and engaging - and, overall, this is fantastic entertainment. It's adult orientated (not because of sex scenes, but because of the level of violence). What's great is that the various animated series all cross-over - with events seen in one having an impact upon the others.If you're a fan of these characters, I thoroughly recommend this anime boxset.

This is a great value box set as the series has 12 episodes ...
This collection has 3 marvel Japanese anime series based on wolverine,the xmen and iron man + a avengers anime film. This is a great value box set as the series has 12 episodes each so u have almost 15hrs of entertainment.The only downside side is there is a forth anime series based on blade which this box set has missed ,I would have more rather had this series than the avengers anime film but I guess blade isn't popular enough now to release in the UK. Even with this big loss this collection still deserves five stars

Highly Recommended.
This is an awesome set containing three TV-series (Wolverine, X-Men, and Iron Man) and a stand-alone movie (Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and The Punisher), for a very reasonable price. All the DVD-s are fantastic, and they offer a treat not just in the visual sense, but also from the POV of a story-lover. All the features are subtitled, and despite the obvious tilt towards Japan in all the events of the TV-series episodes, they are immensely enjoyable.

A bit cringeworthy
The English voiceover was quite bad and I cringed the whole time I watched it. The plot was not very good either.
