Beautiful bead
The hole is a little larger than most this size, which I think is good!

Very small
I ordered 6 mm beads but they were significantly smaller than the 6 mm African turquoise beads I also ordered. I’d say the amethyst beads were closer to 4mm. Pretty disappointed.

Excellent Customer Service! Try Them!
At first, I did not receive Tiger Eyes but plain stone beads. The color I received was a “liliac” (not to my taste) and not aquamarine. The size I received were also 6mm and not 8mm beads.Because I was really excited for this order and was looking forward to working with Aquamarine 8mm Tiger Eyes, what I received is so different, I don’t know what to do with these, or how they will fit with any of my crafts. The loose beads did include a nice burlap and muslin see through cloth bag. Another plus is that the loose beads (sold as such) were nicely vacuum sealed that prevents damage until it gets to us.For the completely different order, I recommended 2-stars for decent stone beads if not the ones I expected.HOWEVER: The seller responded immediately to a 2 star review and promptly sent me the correct order without any request to change my review or for other concessions. They simply wanted to make the order right - which they did!The Tiger Eyes I eventually received were as beautiful as the Amazon display photos and the correct size of 8mm. They are rich and luxurious with a deep vibrant hue. Very lovely and very much worth the price. For the beautiful beads AND the extremely helpful customer service, I recommend this seller and these beads! Thank you for making this right from your heart!

So pretty!
I am not an expert by any means when it comes to beads, but I like having interesting and pretty beads around to make stitch markers for my knitting and crochet, or to add to my knit/crochet projects. I have also wanted to try my hand at making jewelry, as my mom made such beautiful pieces.Anyway, I worried that these would be too heavy for my stitch markers. I think these are actually just about right. They are too big (see photo) for my usual, incredibly simple markers, but I will instead be putting them on wire and attaching to a lobster clasp. That is better for these anyway!I love the look of these beads, as they are just all so interesting to look at. I did string up a bracelet worth of them just to get a feel for the variety. I just blindly pulled beads out of the cute bag and strung them. If I were to do this as an actual bracelet, I would probably pull a couple of those out of the set and plan to use them in more individual applications. The beads are all gorgeous, but there are a couple that just look different enough to not seem like they belong together.

Disappointed
This the first time we have ordered these from this supplier and they are very disappointing. 45 of the 108 beads were defective and the 8mm stated size was largely not true and very inconsistent. If you zoom in on the photo you can easily see the issues.

Pretty gemstone beads
I got these gemstone beads out of curiosity. Amazon is not the first place I would go for top grade gemstone beads but I had to check it out. These beads very closely resemble the listing photos. The description says they are “AAA top quality”, don’t confuse this with “AAA grade”. These lapis lazuli beads are “B grade” at best. This is NOT a bad thing!Years ago some gemstone-selling friends of mine showed me A and B grade lapis lazuli and explained that while A grade were a more perfect blue, B and C grade have more visual interest. These have a lot of great visual interest with various shades of blue mixed with browns and grays. Very few of these are “A grade” which is almost solid blue. They are good quality, uniform in shape, and have cleanly-drilled holes. The hole-to-hole diameters range from 5.6–6.6mm so there is a 1mm variation in size. You would think that isn’t much but a 5.6mm bead next to a 6.6mm bead looks obviously smaller. These are wonderful general purpose gemstone jewelry beads, lots of visual interest and will look nice in your creations. I think they’d look super nice with some gold tone spacer beads.

Amethyst Gemstone Beads in Burlap Bag
Amethyst is a quartz mineral that forms into crystals. These beads are formed from amethyst. I love amethyst!I like that these beads are unstrung because it just saves me the work of un-stringing them. The 108 (8mm) beads were supplied in a burlap and organza drawstring bag. Most of the beads were perfect and well matched to each other. There were only a few misshapen/damaged beads which is expected when working with gemstone material.I was able to make one bracelet, and there are enough left to make about four more. Or you could just make a long necklace or many pairs of earrings. I used standard 7-strand beading wire which the beads strung onto readily. I prefer beading wire over elastic cord for these beads. These beads can be made into jewelry worth much more than the components used and would make a very nice gift. They could also be strung together with larger amethyst beads for variation.I'm happy these are available on amazon because they are much more affordable than the ones in the hobby stores.
