Great printer - Eco Tank 14000
This is my 4th Epson inkjet printer, I still use my R800, which is still going strong after 13 years. I have read many reviews of the EcoTank series of printers, I also watched a youtube video showing a lady being able to rub the ink off different media of various sizes, which obviously wasn't Epson paper. I finally took the plunge on the ET-14000, The outlay was more than most, but with the £50 cash back from Epson, it swayed my mind. I am personally, very impressed with it, colours are bright and consistent, I haven't had any photo's ruined by ink rubbing off, and I am using Black Diamond Premium paper, which is bright white and all my prints stand out brilliantly, I tested it using paper that I have had for some time, you just have to be careful it isn't curled at the edges, otherwise it will pick up smudges on the corner. The printer was very easy to set up, taking 22 minutes for first charge of ink bottles, from getting it out of the box to installation of software, it was only about 30-40 minutes to be up and running. It is a very quiet machine when in use, a lot quieter than I expected. Yes it does have a large footprint, but I expected that, yes it does take up a lot of room, but I was prepared for that too. I love the idea of printing up to A3+ photo's, as my partner and I are keen photographer's, we were eager to see our photo's printed out on A3, we have not been disappointed at all. I have been printing samples on paper from 80gsm to 260gsm and it handled all of them well. I have not found anything negative about this printer, I know a lot of people have said that it is not Wi-Fi and it doesn't have a SD slot or viewing screen, but neither has any of my other Epson printers I have owned, so this didn't bother me at all, if you share it on your home network, then you can use it from a different room. The real beauty of this printer is that it comes with enough ink to last you up to two years, but this really will depend on what you print and how often you use it, I have already bought replacement bottles of ink, all four cost less than than £30 delivered. I for one am happy as for the first time I can afford to use original inks continually as they are so affordable. All in all I do not regret my purchase

Cuts print costs down to size
At last a solution to the grossly overpriced ink cartridges that Epson have forced owners to use by creating software / drivers that reject non Epson / refilled Epson cartridges. Print and scan quality seems good, double sided print works well as does "Air print" / printing from iPad / Phone etc. Could not get the supplied Epson software to load on to a mac off either the CD or their "Support" online site, but this doesn't appear to have impacted on the Mac OS recognising and using the printer / scanner. Smaller physical footprint than one of the Epson printers it's replacing, but the design does look a bit as if someone has just said "take the existing range and bolt a tank on the side"!

Terrible printer!
5 months in and we're now awaiting our third replacement from Epsom! But we don't hold any hopes that fourth time lucky means we get a working printer. There must be a design fault regarding the paper feed because you don't expect to pay over £500 for a printer that sin't fit for purpose.. Very unhappy!

Good printer, but costly!
I have bought this for sublimation and it is the ideal one to print fine quality for a low cost on supplies. Although, it is very costly after doing more research about alternatives. I would recommend but do research before!

Awesome printer, highly recommended
Absolutely love this printer. Do not underestimate the size, it's huge! Prints and maintains itself well with periodic cleaning. Very economical with ink thus far.

Quite large and lacks Wi-Fi printing, but the ET-14000 works extremely well and enables you to print A3+ prints and above!
The Epson EcoTank ET-14000 A3+ printer is certainly a printer you'll need to find space for. However, despite it's large form factor, the ET-14000 has so far worked amazingly well. Thanks to the high-capacity ink tank, situated on the right side of the printer, there's more than enough ink to last the average user just under 2 years! That's quite a saving on ink, in my opinion, and is definitely something you should consider if you're forever replacing empty ink cartridges. Unfortunately the ET-14000 lacks a few features I'd have liked to have seen (such as Wi-Fi printing), but saying this there's definitely ways around the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity (as long as the printer is hooked up to a desktop / laptop, you should be able to set up the printer so that you can see it on any laptop/ desktop connected to your network). Windows HomeGroup makes things like this quite easy. The print quality, from what I've seen so far, has been brilliant. All prints have been crisp and clear, regardless of whether they were text-based prints or full-colour A4 posters. When I received the printer a couple of months ago the price was £500, which in my opinion was very pricey. However, at the time of writing this review I've noticed that there's currently a discount of £130 (bringing the current price down to £370). This current discounted price brings the printer down to the same levels as some of the other EcoTank printers and is a much more appealing price for those users with a small home office looking for an A3+ printer with an amazing ink capacity.

Brilliant print quality
Definitely a step up from the standard run of the mill Epson printers. It is quiet and works well. The A3+ is a great bonus. Fabulous printer as long as you understand it is USB only.

Ink bottles! Not ink cartridges, so last much longer
I use it for printing my books at A4 size, which include coloured illustrations. The pages are folded A3 papers. I can use it for many other things as required, so it is multi-functional!
