Not very good at all and poor customer service
Had the product for about 9 months in which time it has worked OK, though the set up was really hard and included having to put an additional WIFI extender right next to the vuebell unit as it could find my router (even though very strong signal). Have reset an number of times in this period and sometimes it was easy and sometimes not so.About 2 weeks ago it decided not to work at all and after a number of emails to the customer services team they have only suggested things that don't make any difference and waste even more time.I am now at the point where I have had enough and I will be buying a RING bell (I wish I had in the first place) the reviews for the Vuebell had seemed ok when I bought it and the RING setup was a lot more expensive. The Vuebell warranty I can't seem to be able to find how the 1 year guarantee can be applied.I think the main unit, app and wifi issues make this a bad investment - live and learn (and become poorer)

Great camera. A great security device.
Great viewing angle. Zoom feature excellent. It only works on 2.4Ghz so doesn't have the advantages of 5Ghz. Routes everything through netvue server which causes irritating delays. Set up is straight forward following instructions. All in all, for the price, worth every penny. Can be viewed on Alexa tablet as well as smart phones.

Great image quality and amazing support
Let me start by saying that I love NetVue customer support. They promptly answered all my questions and helped me without any problem. Now, the bell. What a great product. Easy to use, setup and install on the wall. Was actually surprised by the quality of the product and even more by the picture. The picture is crystal clear with high quality (even at night)The wide lens also helps to see almost all around the door without any issuesOne great feature is that if anyone rings, everyone who has the bell configured will be alerted that someone is at the door and you can easily talk with the person and open the door.Already have one Orb and one Bullet from NetVue and I'm loving their products.

Generally overall sarisfactory.Good points are price (it was only £56 on the deal) and integration with Alexa. I have couple of TV sticks so I can stream the netvue cams via skill on alexa to the tvs. It can also stream the video from the vuebell camera in the netvue or veuebell apps on android. To power it up you need either AC or DC two wire supply, as shown in specs. I can confirn that it can be powered by Byron 776 chime transformer and cannot by Deta C3501, though the look very similar. On Byron you need to connect it to the terminals 0 and 2 giving 15 VAC.Outdoor unit has a fisheye lens and illuminated push bottom. It is straightforward to connect ans install. Please note. When installing use the location which does not have any large surfaces closer than 30 40cm to the camera. In our case we have a porch pillar close to it and light from IR nightmode assist LEDs is reflecting strongly back into the lens, blinding the camera and giving halos in the lens.Usage. First of all. Quality controll of netvue products as many other chinesse producers really needs improvement. On paper this is good camera at half the price of Ring unit. However my first unit stopped working after 2 days. Good things about netvue, their customer support is really good. On my second unit now, which seem to work ok. The image/video resolution and sensor noise is adequate to use as a door bell cam. But if you are thinking about cctv replacement, it won't work as a security camera. The frame rate, capture delays and resolution for objects more than 1.5 m from the camera is not adequate, mostly due to fisheye nearly 180o field of view. The illuminated doorbell buttom is hard to see in the bright light however, so some people will press on the fisheye lens instead. There is an indoor chime which have crazy amount of different melodies, from which a default ding dong is the best. Unfortunately it has only three volume settings quiet, very quiet and super quiet. You won't hear it from the living room or upstairs, if you have kids in house and tv is on. It comes only in black finish, maybe netvue could think of adding at least a white or silver model. The app. There are two. Older Netvue and newer Vuebell. Genetally is good. Looks well designed in comparision with other chinesse manufactorers. You can set motion detection zones, times etc. It will store about week long log of the motion detection captures (there is a 3 sec delay there). It is ok to recognise someones face upto 1.5 m away, past that you cannot pick up any details of faces or number plates. You can store the feed to the netvue cloud if you subscribe. Also of you paranoid about data safety don't even consider this. As app will gather all your wifi passwords, sounds and video and store on chnisse servers. The other issue with app it not always working. I can't make it ring my phone on my Samsung S7/7.0. The video with a doorbell ring pops up on the lock screen, but it's only gives a short buzz as a message notification. So if you are not starring at the phone you wouldn't know if someone is ringing. However it rings my wife's old S5 with no issues. So it is hit and miss.I prefer the Netvue ad Vuebell crashes too often on opening the history. The sound quality from the bell is just ok, if the wind is not blowing into the mic. The video is ok with a slight delay, but it is very picky about strength of the wifi connection. I have very powerfull wifi router and fibre broadband, but even then there are occasional dropouts in sound and video. Sound on the bell speaker is not the greatest too, especially if you are away from home on mobile connection. VIsitors at the door might not always understand you.Overall verdict: just above the gimmick level. On paper excellent, but reality can be disappointing. Product need improvements in reliability, sound quality on average wifi connections and compatibility with all phones. In comparison with overpriced Ring it is definatelly cheaper but that for a reason too. But great customer support.Btw there are two listings for vuebell01 and vuebell02 hard wire on amazon, it is the same product. Don't get confused.

Good camera and cheap, but cheap for a reason
Just returning my second one of these and I won't be trying a third time. Constantly disconnects from the wi-fi (it really struggles to read the QR code it needs to connect to wi-fi in the first place too) and won't automatically reconnect. I gave up trying when it refused to even go into pairing mode. Haven't managed to get two way audio going even once, on either device. The closest I got was what sounded like a feedback loop and that was with the front door closed and me walking back into the living room. Very, light, cheap feeling and plasticky, you won't find any metal on this bell. Chat support from Netvue was ok, easy to find and use, although some staff are clearly reading off a script with no idea what they're asking or how the device works, but aren't most support staff. As regards fitting, the unit is designed to fit flat to a wall with the wires coming out behind the device, so if like me, you can't fit the unit where your old bell was or where your bell wires are coming out of the wall and you need to run a wire behind the back plate, you're going struggle as the back plate is designed to fit flush to the wall with no way of running a wire behind it. I had to lift the back plate from the wall using some spacers. So if like me, your current bell is on the door frame and your door frame is only a couple of inches wide, this device is a real pain to fit and it's a real lack of forethought by the designers. When you buy a product like Tado, where they seem to have thought of everything, the differences of a cheap product like this masquerading as something more upmarket than it is, become abundantly clear. The only reason for two stars, is that the motion detection seemed to work well and on the rare occasions it did connect and the video worked, the picture and the lens is actually quite good.
