I love this cup. Keeps my coffee hot for two to three hours, and drinkably warm an additional hour or two. The design was very nicely done.

Nice looking...Good, vivid colors and sharp graphics.Another reviewer mentioned "blackish splotches"; um, I think it's part of the design.When I compare mine with that reviewers photos, the "splotches" look exactly the same; same shading, same locations.Overall this appears to be of quality materials and workmanship.Now, for the bad news....If your intention is to sip coffee (or whatever) by putting your mouth at the edge of the cup and tilting the cup (NOT using a straw) there is a bit of a design flaw that makes that a bit frustrating.Typically, somewhere in the top of a coffee tumbler lid, in addition to the sip hole, there is a teeny, tiny air hole; you probably don't even notice them there (but they usually are).That teeny, tiny air hole is what allows movement of the liquid you are drinking so that it flows out of the tumbler and into your mouth.There is NO teeny, tiny air hole in the lid that comes with this.So as I sip, I get a stingy, frustrating small bit of coffee instead of a nice flowing sip.They have designed the lid to include the flip lid that is for sipping.In the center of the lid is also a smaller, straw size lid (soft rubber) that also flips open; yes, I could flip that open to allow for better flow, and it does, but the thing is, I typically nurse my coffee, opening and closing the flip lid each sip (to keep my coffee hotter longer); so now, I have to open and close *two* lids between sips.The lid, as the product page describes, is a "gasket" type seal, not a screw top lid.I ordered this for the amusement factor (as well as the practical use) so while I always prefer a screw top lid, I made an exception; fun/amusement in exchange for my usual practicality.The first time I removed the lid (out of the box) that gasket came off.Yikes.It hasn't done that again so far, but....To facilitate removing the lid, at the opposite side of the sip opening there is a teeny tab for us to grab to help us pry off the lid (it does feel pretty secure; at least brand new it does).Unfortunately, that tab is smack in the way of the large flip lid.So instead of being able to lock down the flip lid(in the open position) like many coffee tumblers do, the tab is in the way and the hinged flip lid just sort of sticks up a bit.This is a sort of fat and squatty tumbler; low center of gravity.It measures just over 6.5 inches high.Looking at it from the side, in profile, (NOT measured around) it measures about 3.5 inches side to side.It fits securely in a standard car cup holder (in our car anyway...) but maybe doesn't reach the "floor" of the cup holder, due to it's fatness.It does okay at keeping my coffee warm; not stellar.Haven't/won't be using it for cold drinks.There is a nice little stainless steel curved straw included and a brush to clean the straw with.5 stars for fun factor.3 ish stars (give or take) for function/design.I've generously given this an overall 4 star rating.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Got this thermal cup for the graphics but I continue to use it owing to the quality.I have purchased similar cups from other brands and the printing usually starts flaking off after a few months of use. I took photos prior to using then one final one after almost two months of daily use and it is going strong!The printing on the cup is durable and holding up well to hot/cold use and daily washing. I hand wash this cup and have yet to try it in the dishwasher; however, I doubt the dishwasher will make much of a difference.It came with a stainless steel straw which is great for my 7 year old when he has cold drinks but I would not recommend the metal straw with hot liquids.The cup does well isolating your hands from the hot or cold liquid in the cup. I never have a drink long enough to tell if it helps hold the heat/cold of a drink more then 40 mins; however, I expect it would.Great print quality on a well made cup!!!

Seriously disappointed. Presentation: arrived in a very nice, sturdy box perfect for gift giving.  The metal straw & cleaning brush were packed neatly inside along with the tumbler.So no disappointments there....It wasn't until I took out the tumbler & realized that the design was a mess, with black-ish splotches & what not all over.Please check out pix I attached if you have a chance.I was really psyched to have this but now...Sono molto deluso. Molto, molto deluso.

My wife is Italian so when I saw this I had to get it for her. She loved it. She laughed but now uses it on a daily basis.
