I personally use a surround sound soundbar and digital optical connection lead into my TV rather than the Sky Box. Hope that helps

Yes. And if you have sky movies you can get all the on demand and box sets.

Q: Will this work in southern Spain I want to replace an old Grundig digitoxin

As long as you are receiving a Satellite signal you will be able to use the Skg HD box, let me follow on by mentioning if you don’t have a Sky contract the recording facility is unavailable on this Sky Hd box. I will further add that a grundig Sky box only has one tuner so you may need to set the Sky Hd box to single feed mode in order for the Sky Hd box to be fully functional, please note Chigwell Satellite supply full instructions on single feed mode, set up and card pairing, Regards Richard.
