Are the Antennas Replaceable?

Yes, they are. They're available in lengths of 150mm, 250mm, 400mm, and 600mm. They attach to the board with a tiny version of the standard button-snap you can find on shirts, casual pants, etc. They secure them to the board with a small dab of glue to keep them from coming off in a hard impact. Will this work with an f3 board?

Yes, it is. but the F3 board needs to support sbus.

Needs current firmware even if manual says this is a V1

So, at the end of the day I was intending to use this receiver to bind to some old 3rd party transmitters that I had. Installation was really easy with the pads clearly marked, and it is brilliantly light. However, it would not work with them. Pretty much the current firmware updates have effectively sealed off cross-platforming and that "old gen FrSky protocoled products will not cooperate. Instead, I had to settle on a 3rd party D8 receiver. In short, if you have a transmitter that is current with the firmware updates, It seems it will work. However, for old gen, this is not the best approach
