Sophisticated for people in their 30-40s. Sturdy construction, so they're a bit heavy.
Wore these for the 1st time on New Year's eve to run errands. These are sturdily-constructed, shiny, heavy earrings but slightly difficult to insert into pierced ears and lock shut. Practice will make perfect, though, and I can see my ear holes stretch out a bit, so I must rest my ears for a few days before using any earrings again. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Yet, for whatever reason, I didn't notice them in my ears and I wore this pair for 15 hours. With dark hair worn down, these earrings are sparkly and will make you look sophisticated: people will take you seriously. These are age-defining earrings, however: if you're younger than 30 yrs., these earrings may age you; if you're older than 50 yrs. these may cause your ear lobes to irreversibly sag. (I'm in my 30s and want people to take me seriously so I can do banking and car purchasing w/ ease.) While I won't purchase another pair that's this heavy, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

They are very pretty, a smaller size than I usually buy, but very high quality and I am very pleased with them... OK, but could have been great.
I wish they were bigger (like at least one inch diameter) and with just a little more sparkle. Then they would get 4 stars. The design of overlapping hoops is brilliant: 5 stars if the hoops created more three-dimensional look from the front view (where, of course, they most frequently appear). As they are, they are fine for everyday wear but nothing special.If the designers could make the changes I've recommended, they would have been a bargain at $50 or more.

I work at a law firm and was looking for classy earrings at a reasonable price. These are great. I do wish they were a tad bigger perhaps. Also the earrings sit forward slightly so you can see the post. Other than that I like the quality.

Bought these as a gift for my mom. They come in the nice blue and black box shown. The quality is great for the price I paid, the only issue I found with them when I first got the was that the hinge holding the earring post did not hold it very well, it seemed loose. To fix this I just pinched the hinge a bit with pliers and that worked great. Still a new purchase so I'm not sure how they are over time but so far happy with this purchase!

Pretty design and just-right size. As they aren't meant to be symmetrical there is a right and left to them. When I take them off, I leave the left one open and click the right one closed, so I always know which goes on what ear.
