This is a very well explained book, very simple to understand though the wrappings are rather original and very chic. We must not search for the usual and traditional here, it is more unexpected, surprising, elegant, though easy to realize.The author is very clear in her explanations, no reason to get a headache. She even explains what seems obvious to me. The pictures are amazing, the whole book gorgeous.I really would say it is a must-have book for those who like wrapping presents in a very chic style. And original also.

I love paper. Using beautiful wrapping just makes me happy. "The Art of Gift Wrapping" was a joy for me to read. It is a wonderful book for people who have not done a lot of wrapping. It covers the basics of gift wrapping and goes a little further. I did not get as much out of it as I had expected but would recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their gift wrapping skills or wants to learn more about gift wrapping supplies that are available.

I'm really happy with this book. What I originally wanted was a book to show me foundational wrapping techniques. This book does have some of that with the basic box, diagonal and cylindrical (wow!) techniques. I wish there were more pictures and more descriptions of these. Wanda Wen does have a YouTube channel with two videos. I hope she makes more videos with these basic techniques.Here is where the book really shines. It is beautiful, high quality and the photos are gorgeous! You could put this book on your coffee table and instantly impress everyone who comes over. However, you really want to open the book and page through it to get great ideas on wrapping and materials to use. Have you fallen in love with the endless possibilities of paper? You will now. What can you use to add delightful embellishments to your gifts? You will be dazzled and lightly surprised at some of the ideas!After wrapping a gift with this book for inspiration, my recipient didn't want to open the gift because it looked so good. I was so pleased to know that I really created something special and thoughtful.

This is a top-notch easy to understand book about wrapping gifts in an elegant or fun way, in many cases using items from your home or garden. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys or would like to more enjoy the art of gift wrapping.

Very disappointing as she is the National spokesperson for Scotch Brand Tape.The layout of the book was very poor- too many sidebar notes and too many layers of illustrations underlying the text.As a passionate gift wrapper, was hoping for more photos and a range of ideas and styles.She definitely has a distinct style and a brand as a gift wrapper and lifestyle guru- perfect for California but not in the Midwest.Admire her skills and success as a businessperson.

I bought this book for my daugher's birthday. She is 31 years old. She loves to wrap presents. She loved the innovative ideas and materials used in wrapping gifts and especially the ideas for none traditional shapes of gifts and ideas on how to wrap them. She said it was the best gift ever.
