The Family Handyman's Best Organizing Solutions: Cut Clutter, Store More, and Gain Acres of Closet Space

I really love quite a few of the ideas in this book. All have nice pictures and instructions and the difficulty of the projects range from easy to difficult. I also like the fact that they show different methods of achieving the same organizing solution but there are different price ranges so you can choose according to budget and complexity. Even looking at the photos gave me other ideas that I can also use. Originally, I checked this book out at the library, but liked it so much bought myself a copy. And my sister, ever the handyman, bought a copy as well.

I ordered this after seeing it in the store and got it way cheaper here. It has tons of great ideas for in the house and garage. It also has diy ideas that are very thrifty and sometimes simple to do. I have so many pages marked for ideas to try. I'm very glad I got this book.

Very creative solutions to many common problems. In many cases, there are multiple solutions, so you can choose the one that works best for you. Plus, many of the solutions are so creative (e.g. using pvc pipe to store everything from skis to fishing rods and even to make overhead storage racks) that they can spark your imagination and you can develop even more solutions on your own. Great reference book.

Some cool ideas, very specific to the garage and kitchen mostly. Would've like to see more innovative stuff. Good for the knowledgeable handyman and great ideas for a beginner to get some help with.

Lots of great ideas for organization solutions, others not so much. I built several projects the most best one being the kitchen cabinet rollouts. I was not impressed with recycling oil bottles, those are best returned a disposal facility so they can properly take care of the oil residue inside.

This is a very useful book. It has many helpful ideas and needed instruction to do organizing projects. It did not cover 100% of what I was looking for. However it covered all the basics I needed. I recommend it for getting things organized at home.

Since have been subscribing to and using family handyman for years, I was familiar with most of the projects in the book, but it was a great reminder of some of the projects I had forgotten I'd like to build! It was worth adding into my library.

VERY good. There are manY simple and very, very useful ideas on storring different kind ir things.

Surprisingly full or new ideas! I am having a hard time keeping this book in my house, because everyone I show it to want to borrow it for themselves!!!Excellent for those who want to improve how they use space in their garages, basements, etc. Many of the ideas suggested call for use of recycled material, so it is a very ecological and budget-friendly book!Great purchase! Nice gift idea for people who like to build stuff themselves!
