I bought this interactive toy for my daughter because it looked like it would be very entertaining to use the ring to get more facts and tidbits. My daughter loved it and wanted to buy more of the books so she could read them. Overall it is an interesting idea but perhaps a little bit overpriced.

I love this concept and the innovation, but I'm not sure the value is there price wise. It comes with three books and there are six additional ones you can purchase so far (they are each $9.99 with the exception of one that is $7.99). The included book about the body is my favorite and is a great use of this technology as it really helps add to the understanding and comprehension (I even learned a thing or two!). The alphabet one is cool and educational, too, but I wish the letter tiles were slightly smaller (or were circles) so you can still see the letter when you have the ring over it. The text/letter does pop up next to the ring, but the whole point is to look through the ring, not at the content next to it. The last included book is just a fun book with animations/colors but it would be nice if it were set up as an I Spy type book (since there are nine hidden treasures this would be easy to accomplish just by making the images of what you are looking for a little larger).I'd feel good about this purchase at $19.99, but at the current price I don't think the value is there. I also think each additional book should be $4.99 instead of $9.99. At $9.99 I don't see myself investing in more of these books.

My mommy and daddy got it for me, and I love it so much! 💙First, the color is amazing - it's BLUE! That's my favorite color! The Peekabook toy is like a magical book that talks and plays with me. It's super duper fun! 🤗When I play with Peekabook, I learn so many cool things, like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. It's like having a new friend who teaches me all sorts of stuff, but it never gets tired or needs a nap. 😄One thing I really love is how it reads stories to me. I can follow along with the words and pictures, and sometimes I even try to read out loud too! It's so much fun when we read together. 📖Peekabook also has games and puzzles that make my brain super smart! I like matching shapes and solving problems, and sometimes I even surprise mommy and daddy with how good I am. 🧩When we go on long car rides or to grandma's house, Peekabook comes with me. It's perfect for keeping me busy and happy, and mommy and daddy love it too because it's educational. 🚗So, little friends, I think you should ask your mommy and daddy for the Peekabook Interactive Toy for iPad. Cute educational toy, but I think it would be great if you could pick which 3 books come with your purchase when you purchase the starter kit. Especially since my kids are at the upper limit of the age range, it didn't include a lot that was for us. It would be great to purchase for a child that's around 3 or 4 to grow with the child, but if you're already at the top of the age range, you won't be able to get as much out of it at this point (with what's available now). Other than that, love the content for younger kids.

This is a very cool, interactive way to encourage young readers and inspire inquisitiveness. My daughter hasn’t explored all of the books just yet because she spent a great deal of time discovering the inner workings of the human body, as she seems to particularly enjoy that one.

Positives up front: The app is very fluid and the product works well with my iPad Pro from 2020-ish. The experiences range across different topics and you'll find something your kid is interested in.On the other hand, for around $40, this feels very limited.You get 3-4 "stories" or experiences with the purchase of the ring/download of the app. We spent the most time in the "Human Body" and then a purchased experience of, basically, hidden figures with animals for ~$10. So, in total, I've spent $50 on this for a 4 year old. Many of the experiences are one page. Just "Here's a body" and here's a page full of animals. The animal one does have a lights out feature that was cool, so you could consider it two pages. However, for $10, I could buy a bundle of hidden figure/I Spy books with more content.Basically, I think the premise is very cool. My daughter was very excited about the parts of the human body and finding guitar playing frogs. However, I think the price-to-content ratio is not great and the content is more short-form so there isn't a ton of replayability. Also, I wish there was a homepage filter to show only those that you own. I completely understand the sales aspect of showing everything but if you're including 4 year olds in this range, you have to consider that I'll just close it rather than argue about buying ANOTHER one.

The media could not be loaded.  this is exactly what i’ve been looking for but more! my 4 year old toddler’s absolute favourite now. an app for children that encourages mindful play, well-animated digital books with beautiful illustrations, little surprises popping up as we pan the ring around, fun facts to learn from like why our lips are a different colour from our face from the human body book to actually seeing granny cooped up in big bad wolf’s tummy from the little red riding hood book. the narration is crisp and clear too, very glad to have someone else doing most of the talking other than myself. hooray! getting a few more sets as gifts for my friends. looking forward to new book releases from them, such a gem!
