Really needed this item in a rush because I've three big intact boy cats staying temporarily. They could be a risk to tiny inquisitive fearless kittens plus a kind but greedy dog who scoffs the kittens food. This crate was meant to help keep kitty safe from the boys and block greedy dog from scoffing kitten food.This crates not great if your older and arthritic as I am. the securing ties are short and fiddly (minor point I know)The big issues are.. . The crate has one door but it needs two doors not one. Getting the bed onto the top tier isn't easy at all. You need to stick your arm inside the door on ground level to reach up to the sleeping platform to place the bed. No mean feat for anyone but adding old arthritic person trying to do this contortion is very hard. Plus if you've no where high to place the crate you need to get on your knees to put the bed on the platform.. That's no joke. To help make the crate useful and for me to make it comfy for the kitten I didn't connect one section properly to. Make another door way myself which had helped alot. There's no door secures for the actual door and no secures for my homemade door so if you buy this buy pipe cleaners too so you can tie the doors shutThe ladder is ridiculously steep and unsecured. It falls off the platform very easily so not confidence inspiring for little kittens who need to use it and the ladders ridiculously steep. So insecure and steep and not comfy fir the cat as the ladders metal. I found pipe cleaners I used to secure the ladder at the top. And to tie the base of the ladder to a crate wall so it's not so steepThis should come with a longer ladder that can be secured or tied as I've done))Unless you find a tiny teeny titchy litter tray it's hard to fit one in plus food/water bowls and definitely no space for toys and the ladder makes it hard to put the food and water bowls in the crate. It's a dead boring and unstimulating place for a kitten especially if you need to leave it in the crate for a while any period at allThe base and bed platform are nylon so they will get ruined by tiny sharp claws in a heartbeat as evidenced by one of my photos. The kitten went in for ten minutes and it's claws caught on the fabric base!!There's no door closing tab or facility so if I didn't have pipe cleaners I couldn't secure it closed.To remedy the extra door which is needed I have left a top panel unsecured so I'll tie it shut as I am going to do to the actual door.I read the reviews I didn't see many raising these issues I found. Based on those reviews I bought the crate thinking it was a good find. It's not a good find at all. Also it's alot cheaper elsewhere. I needed it quickly so bought it. I can't send it back as I've assembled it but I do Not recommend this crate at allIt's easy to build which is it's main and only plus pointRaised the stars so more will see this reveiw

Fairly easy to put together by use of the plastic multi clips,take your time and everything will slot into place nicely.Not too heavy to move from room to room.Strong enough to contain your cat.

I used this for my new kitten to introduce her to my other 3 cats. It was a safe place for her to go and also to sleep initially. We also fed her in it as she loved to steal the big girls food too !! Made sure she had plenty of water and toys whenever we closed the door.

Ho comprato per mio gatto che dopo una settimana è riuscito a rompere il rivestimento e spaccare il ferro della porta della gabbia. Poi i pezzi che vengono per chiudere si sono allargati e non chiudono più. Quindi dopo 10g non serve più per niente. Allora devo comprare un’altra.

Got this to keep my cat from eating and drinking prior to surgery.The good part -- conceptually it's easy to put together --it snaps in, and occasionally snaps out when constructing, but overall went together quickly.The cat, while I can't say she liked it, did end up sleeping soundly on the 2nd tier. She did not go in happily, but that's not the fault of the cage --she doesn't go into the cat carrier easily either.All in all, it's a functional piece of equipment and I will use it again if needed.Now, to the problems -- It's ok for a small cat or kitten, but if you have a big one, it's too small. No "lock" on the door -- although little plastic attachers (where you try to thread the end into a little eye and pull to tighten were included -- I have mild neuropathy, and was completely unable to handle these...) In consequence, I had to tie the door (and untie it in the morning). I also managed not the fasten the ladder to the second tier -- although ultimately that didn't matter, the fact that it was loose made it difficult for her to jump down once she was up.Next time, I'll probably just leave off the ladder and put in in through the top.So worth the money, but be aware of the minor annoyances if you purchase it. I would buy from this company again, just probably a cage that is a bit larger.

Needed a little crate for my new kitten to keep him confined while I am at work and this was the perfect size! He loves it!

I received it today and the instructions of course are nonexistent lol but once you get the base started it's pretty easy to assemble. My issue is I couldn't assemble it as it's supposed to be because it's so small and my cat won't have any room. The litter box takes up most of the space. So I extended it and just made it longer instead. It's still very small so I'm very unhappy with it due to how much it costed me to get it. Picture shows it to be much bigger and that is not the case. And the paper it came with says it comes with 2 piece mesh doors and 12 pieces of mesh board but instead I only received 1 door and 13 mesh boards. I'm still debating where to just deal with it and try to make it work or to return it and get my money back.

This thing would.be fine for a small kitten or puppy. I wouldn't trust it for a ferret or any pet that would work hard to get out. It's just a temporary holding place. Also, I have to use a leash clip to hold it closed because it doesn't come with a latch. Very flimsy- use when you can supervise.
