Prerfect size…I turn it on prior to it snowing to warm it up…very effectively melts snow in contact

Doesn't appear to work with a timer or smart switch.
I connected the plug to a smart switch, so I could turn on/off the plug/matt remotely and on a timer. However, once the power is turned off and then back on, then you have to press the RESET button to power the matt back on. So, it would appear you have to press the RESET button each and every time the matt is powered back on. Very disappointing, when the pictures show the plug connected to a timer.
